Cheltenham Town were beaten 1-0 at Scunthorpe United with John McAtee's first-half strike enough to condemn Michael Duff's men to their sixth defeat of the season.
The Robins remain in the top seven on goal difference ahead of Tuesday's trip to Carlisle United.
Front man Reuben Reid made his comeback from injury as a second-half substitute and Cheltenham finished the match with four strikers on the pitch but they could not find a way past Ian Lawlor in the Iron goal.
It was their seventh successive defeat at Scunthorpe, where they have not scored for 15 years.
