I heard they closed for good. Such a bummer. It was a spot I looked forward to going to and taking people to. So sad. Are they closed for good?

I visit a lot from Florida...a year ago I would've given this place 5 stars. My mom and I went almost weekly for a month last summer for the best Turkey Cranberry sandwich we've ever had! Plenty of meat and cranberry and a delicious whipped cream cheese. Even asked what type of bread they used so we could make our own back home. We were really excited to come back this year with confidence we'd have the same experience...but unfortunately it wasn't the same at all. Spent what seemed like a fortune on some chips, a drink, and a soggy sandwich with hardly any meat. It was awful and sad:( Scared to go back now...

Good coffee, pretty darned good breakfast food. Was willing to work around my dietary restrictions. Absolutely great service!

Friday clam chowder was a horrible disappointment. Little to no flavor and it contained potatoes that were so overcooked they disintegrated to mush in your mouth, not a tasty experience. The stock was extra thick and the seasoning was all but non existent. Only found a couple of very small pieces of actual clam which was a big disappointment.
Overcooked, verging on burned bacon on a simple BLT sandwich started things off poorly, the bread was so dry it shredded my mouth. Great slices of tomato but that was the only thing to compliment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Sorry you did not enjoy your meal. We wish you had let us know--we would have made it right. It also would have given us the opportunity to provide training to the staff member who prepared it. Our clam chowder is quite popular, so we were surprised to get your comment. We will definitely look into it. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you give us another try.

Breakfast sandwiches grease soaked through the croissant. $40 for two coffees and 3 breakfast sandwiches your better off going to the hive across the street.

Our croissant breakfast sandwich, the OC Special, has been one of our best selling menu items for many years. The premium Marsee Bakery croissant is huge, flaky and buttery. The sandwich has no added grease. The croissant is filled with a house made scrambled egg patty, cheddar cheese and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham (my favorite is sausage). Our premium Stumptown Coffee is the best around. And, these days, $40 for three meals seems reasonable to us. Sorry you were unhappy with your experience.

The everything Bagel breakfast sandwiches was delicious! We met Teri who was making our sandwich and she was super friendly and funny. The ambiance was perfect for a casual breakfast with my daughter! I will go back every time I'm in the OC!

Great sandwiches and coffee , bit over priced but everything is these days, service could be awesome if they did not use the pagers to tell u you coffee is ready, toooo much sound in the AM for this guy.

One of my all-time favorite cafes! This is my first time visiting in several years, and everything has only gotten better. Hands down the best quiche I've ever eaten. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is airy and inviting, and I can't wait to come back!
