A Gift for Christmas

We are happy to announce our next initiative, “A Gift for Christmas.”  This has been a difficult year and it has had a profound effect on us all-- especially children. They have been out of school for months without friends, social interactions, opportunities to learn, and vital access to food and social programs.  Within that group, there is a population of children that have been impacted even more so—those who have spent, at the very least, the last year in foster care or homeless shelters.  Children who for no fault of their own, find themselves in a situation that all of us hope our own children and grandchildren never have to experience. 

Our goal is to raise funds to provide children in foster care and homeless shelters around New York City with a toy and food for Christmas, along with some much-needed hope and joy.  With everything that these children have endured, they all deserve to at least have “A Gift for Christmas.”

We are a registered 501(c)(3), and will send you a donation receipt after the campaign is complete and in time for tax filing purposes.
