The How / We Are Connected / Photo Exploration Project is a geographic multi-media series of a diversity of cultural performing arts artists from various cultures. The project will present a visual and educational perspective on cultural identity, portraying the similarities and connections shared between diverse ethnical cultures and races, and the traditional principles of their practices.
The mission of THWACPEP is:
- To inspire people, both young and old, to learn and connect to their cultural roots through enriched visualization with photography, video, personalized stories from artists, live events, festival organizers, historians, and insight on various countries and traditions.
- To engage, stimulate and educate audiences about the many annual cultural festivals that take place in the states and internationally, and the artists who participate in them.
- To cultivate, support and promote local performing arts professionals, cultural development programs, independent teachers through live and private performances, annually events, small business owners, and featured interviews via photos, video, and articles.
