Kaydon Prior, 23, screamed, 'I love you' to his ex, Alicia Parrin, while he stabbed Harrison Tomkins, 25, with a 16cm long hunting blade, on August 13 last year. Chichester Crown Court heard how he went into a jealous rage when he found Ms Parrin, 21, with Mr Tomkins, 25, and knifed him to death. Six people were arrested near Downing Street after police intervened when a group broke through a cordon made to stop people moving past the area allocated for the event. Elias Huizar, 39, killed his ex-wife Amber Rodriguez at William Wiley Elementary school on Monday afternoon during dismissal, according to Washington State Police. The couple's 9-year-old son told police that he watched his father shoot his mother several times. Police searching for Huizar found a second victim, his girlfriend Angelica 'Jelly' Santos, dead in his home, which is on the same block as the West Richland school. First-degree murder charges were filed against him late Monday night, as well as an aggravated circumstance allegation of domestic violence and firearm enhancement. Huizar was found in his car of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head around 3pm local time Tuesday afternoon, according to the West Richland Police Department. His 1-year-old son with the teenager, Roman, was found safe. A spokesperson for Washington State Police confirmed to DailyMail.com that the Amber Alert has been canceled. Police were seen carrying the baby away from Huizar's alleged vehicle.

The Celestyal Journey cruise ship was making a routine arrival into the port in Kusadasi, Turkey last week when it hit the concrete pier with its bow bulb. The crew miscalculated the speed and approached the pier too quickly, resulting in the collision. Members of the vessel's 597-person crew reportedly lowered the anchor in a bid to slow the approach, but despite their efforts the ship still crashed into the pier.

'Mission Wave Alpha' has seen Sebastian Steudtner train for years, and the athlete decided that the time was right to surf the 'biggest waves of his life' during 'historic' conditions at the famed big wave spot of Nazaré earlier this year. Dramatic aerial footage shows Steudtner carving down huge foaming waves, knowing one mistake could see him fall from the terrifying heights. Porsche helped him with training during their partnership over the last three years, with Steudtner's extreme training seeing him take to a surfboard inside a wind tunnel designed for cars. The car maker's engineers also developed state-of-the-art drones to help measure the waves for the surfers' record attempt.

Katie Cleath, 37, from Tulsa but currently lives in Colorado, felt forced to cut ties with her daughter, Hannah Lewis, 22, after she was born due to safety fears. When she was 14 years old, Katie, who now works as an aesthetician, fell pregnant, and shortly after turning 15, gave birth to Hannah. An Ohio-based company launched the first flamethrower-wielding robot dog online. Amercians can now purchase the four-legged machine that shoots flames up to 30 feet. The company did not describe its as a new-aged weapon, but touts the flame throwing robot as being used in wildfire control, agricultural management, entertainment and ice removal.

Dust from the Sahara Desert turned Athens orange yesterday as clouds blown across the Mediterranean Sea caused the city's famous landmarks to look more like scenes from Mars . Strong southerly winds coming from north Africa painted southern Greece in the unusual hue as the day wore on. And world-famous tourist sites took on a unique appearance after the dust cloud swept across the capital. Landmarks, including the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill, the Temple of Apollo and Tourkovounia Hill, as well as the buzzing city centre, were painted orange by the winds.
