Rockwood murder-suicide: Shooter previously made threats to kill wife

UPDATE: SPOKANE, Wash- KHQ confirmed new information on a murder-suicide in Spokane that took place Tuesday morning. According to a law enforcement source, Spokane Valley deputies contacted Chris Henderson on Monday, the day before Tuesday's murder-suicide. Friends and family confirm to KHQ that Chris Henderson is the man who police say entered the Rockwood Cancer Treatment Center, shot and killed his wife Sheena Henderson, then turned the gun on himself. Spokane Police say this was the result of a domestic dispute the two had been having. Both were pronounced dead Tuesday morning.

KHQ has confirmed employees of the West Corporation in Spokane Valley called 911 Monday to report their fellow employee Chris Henderson was being unruly. An employee tells KHQ that he had also talked about killing his wife and himself. Spokane Valley police deputies responded to the business and contacted Henderson just before 1 pm Monday. Henderson was checked out but not arrested or taken into custody.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed that the victim was 30-year-old Sheena Henderson. The official identity of the shooter has not yet been released by the medical examiner.

The Spokane County Sheriffs office says it's waiting to comment until the medical examiner officially releases the identity of the husband and wife.

KHQ's Dylan Wohlenhaus also reached out to a spokesman for the West Corporation in Nebraska. The company would not comment on the incident but did say Henderson had been an employee of the company since 2012.
