Ryan Camp taught guitar professionally for over 10 years and is currently involved with worship ministry at Collegedale's Connect worship service. In this clinic Ryan will introduce us to techniques for playing acoustic rhythm guitar, 2nd guitar, and electric lead guitar. Some of the specific acoustic techniques to be covered will be capo use, transposing, the chord numbering system and basic finger technique.

In addition, the conversation about 2nd Guitars and/or electric lead will cover implanting the CAGED system, power chords, 5th chords, octaves, playing dynamically, and how to utilize chord structure to leave room for other instruments in the praise band.

All skill levels are welcome for this collective conversation and learning experience as we seek to foster greater excellence in how we use the guitar in praise and worship.

 Matt Spears one of our long time worship leaders at Collegedale will also be working together with Ryan to demonstrate certain aspects of two guitarists playing together.
