Adjust Your Sleep Schedule After Daylight Saving Time by Going to Bed a Little Earlier

Daylight saving time ended yesterday, and that can easily throw you off your sleep schedule a bit. To help get you back on track a little quicker, Psychology Today recommends you go to bed about 15 minutes earlier than usual for this first week.

According to Psychology Today, the adjustment to the new schedule can take your body upwards of two or three weeks. If you want to speed up the process, doctors recommend you go to bed a mere 15 minutes earlier for the next few nights. Otherwise, they recommend you don't change your schedule around too much even though it gets darker earlier in the evening. If you found yourself struggling to get up this morning, it might be worth a shot.
