So… let me start out by saying that THIS is by far the HOTTEST book I’ve read this year! I mean, sweet baby Jesus! Isabel Love burns up the pages with Unconventional! When I first read Untouchable, I was curious about Max and Monica’s wild friends, Charlie and Quinn. This book is a complete stand-alone, but if you’ve read Love’s first book, you’ve already met our leading man and lady.
Charlie Nelson is a photographer. He’s perpetually single, preferring just to hook-up. Charlie’s been hurt in the past and that has turned him into the type that doesn’t do relationships. He meets his match when he meets Quinn Fitzpatrick. Quinn is also an artist. She is the same as Charlie in a lot of ways. Quinn is the girl that just wants to have fun. She’s not into anything serious. She and Charlie develop this flirty and super sexy friends with benefits relationship.
It’s just what they both want. Friends. Lots of sex. No strings. They push the boundaries with each other, delving into their deeper sexual desires. Through that, they start to trust one another, care for one another, and maybe, even start developing real feelings for one another. What I loved most about Quinn and Charlie is that there was no judgment between the two of them. They accepted one another and just got each other.
I am one of those readers that will rarely five star an erotica type book. They never really hit all of my love buttons, because a lot of the time they are super sexy, but don’t give me enough story or enough feels. Unconventional had it all. Steamy, emotional, funny, and the perfect amount of feels. I love Isabel’s writing. LOVE IT! If you’re looking for a fun and naughty read with some depth and a real story attached, this is the book for you! I can’t wait to see what else Love has in store for us!

Unconventional is the first book I have read by Isabel Love. If there is one thing this book is, it’s that it’s hot. The two main characters, Charlie Nelson and Quinn Fitzpatrick, have both been hurt in the past. They are both friends with the same two couples and met through them eight months ago. Neither is interested in the least in a relationship but they both love sex and enjoy a friends with occasional benefits relationship.
These two have so many similarities. They are both artists. Charlie is a photographer and Quinn is an artist. Both are horribly misunderstood by their families, not fitting into the nitch their parents would have liked them to. And both are very adventurous in their sexual lives. An accidental encounter gives Quinn the chance to witness Charlie with another woman. She should turn around and leave but something in her keeps her rooted to her spot. This awakens a whole new desire in both Charlie and Quinn they didn’t realize was there.
Their occasional hook-ups with each other are becoming more and more frequent and they both realize they are thinking about each other more and more. When something good happens, Quinn is the first person Charlie thinks of texting. And we won’t even start with their sexting. It’s a miracle their phones didn’t melt down.
They both find the support and acceptance in each other they were craving. Not to mention the crazy hot sex. Do they dare take the risk of getting hurt and take their relationship to the next level?
I had so many different feelings with this book. It is most definitely hot. The maybe first half of the book, though, I had a little trouble connecting with Charlie and Quinn. I just couldn’t soften to their attitude regarding sex. Somewhere in the book it refers to both of their attitudes as direct and that is the perfect way to describe them both. They don’t hold back. I usually like my characters to be a little softer. But as their relationship progressed, so did their emotional connection and I did enjoy watching them break down each other’s walls and seeing a new side to them both. The way both of their families treated them broke my heart but they both found strength in each other. And the second Dedication at the end was wonderful and heartfelt.
So, although I struggled just a bit connecting with these two, all in all, I really did enjoy the book. And did I say that it was hot? There will be a book on Charlie’s ex, Anna, called Unforgivable, and I will be interested to see what her story is.

And I'm completely blown away because the hottest scenes don't even have your good ol' descriptions of penetration. This was completely refreshing and I was absolutely ENTHRALLED!
➦If you love menage then definitely check this book out! What I enjoyed the most was that in between all the naughty play there was also a love story, albeit an unconventional one. But you know what?

Holy crap. Unconventional doesn't cover this book
It made me laugh, it made me cringe, it made me hot, it made me cry, and dammit it made me love!!!
Charlie Nelson is an amazing hero in my eyes. He is everything, literally everything you want in a man. He wants it simple, he wants fun, he wants happy. He loved once and was so burned by the betrayal and hurt that he won't ever do that again, right??!!!
Quinn Fitzpatrick has had enough hurt in her lifetime to last forever. She ain't looking for anything but meaningless sex. That is all. She wants to live her life in orgasms and art. Simple, huh. Throw in some threesomes and you have the life of Quinn Fitzpatrick.
When these two characters get going, it's instant chemistry.
They have sex regularly but not exclusively. Until it does become just them, or I think you call it that. It is completely 100% the unconventional relationship I will say. I am not going to elaborate much on this as I don't want to give away this story but I am the hopeless love addict. I finished Unconventional at 4 in the morning. Read it in one sitting cause I couldn't put this bad boy down. Nope. Not a chance. I was so enthralled by Charlie and Quinn. Yes, their friendship was unconventional but it worked for them, because they made it clear from the beginning what they wanted and needed from one another. Sex. Nothing else. No strings. No expectations. I loved that when I first was introduced to Charlie and Quinn they'd already had sex a couple of times so they'd already established the rules. Now it was all lust, fun and amazing sex.
Unconventional was extremely erotic and had plenty of sex but not just for shock value or for the sake of it. This was Charlie and Quinn's story and I loved that they both were secure and comfortable with their sexuality. They'd both experienced loss in the past and now it was all about themselves and having fun. I enjoyed how their friendship slowly evolved into more but in the beginning they're sharing fantasies with one another and damn..... I was combustible when I read some of those insanely hot and naughty scenes. There's voyeurism, phone sex and threesomes just to name a few. Every scene was written with poise and oozed eroticism that only seduced me further into the story. I was entranced!
Unconventional was my first book by Isabel Love and she captured me within the first chapter. Hook line and sinker. She writes with such an ease, her prose is flawless and honest. Her characters are so relatable that I loved not only Charlie and Quinn but also the other two couples Max and Monica and Logan and Tate. Isabel Love is definitely on my radar now. Sweet baby Jesus this was one amazing book!

Unconventional was extremely erotic and had plenty of sex but not just for shock value or for the sake of it. This was Charlie and Quinn's story and I loved that they both were secure and comfortable with their sexuality. They'd both experienced loss in the past and now it was all about themselves and having fun. I enjoyed how their friendship slowly evolved into more but in the beginning they're sharing fantasies with one another and damn..... I was combustible when I read some of those insanely hot and naughty scenes. There's voyeurism, phone sex and threesomes just to name a few. Every scene was written with poise and oozed eroticism that only seduced me further into the story. I was entranced!
Unconventional was my first book by Isabel Love and she captured me within the first chapter. Hook line and sinker. She writes with such an ease, her prose is flawless and honest. Her characters are so relatable that I loved not only Charlie and Quinn but also the other two couples Max and Monica and Logan and Tate. Isabel Love is definitely on my radar now. Sweet baby Jesus this was one amazing book!

Wow! Oh wow… This was HOT!!!! Isabel Love has really amped up the steam with her newest release, Unconventional. If you’ve read Untouchable then you would have previously met Quinn and Charlie and boy are they worth getting to know.
While I loved Untouchable, Isabel Love just literally knocked it out of the park with this one; the steam almost set my kindle on fire and I found myself constantly needing to take cold showers to cool off. Did I mention it was hot, boy was it hot…
Charlie and Quinn are similar in so many ways, both single by choice, both LOVE sex and neither are looking for a relationship per se and are quite content with a friends with benefits arrangement.
“I promise I won’t ever lie to you, Charlie. I know that’s a deal breaker for you.”
I loved both Charlie and Quinn. I loved how free and easy they were, how open their relationship was, how there was no judgement. I simply loved their chemistry. Yes, just as the title suggests, their relationship is a somewhat unconventional one, but you know what… who cares? For them it worked, and what might work for some may not work for others. The type of relationship Charlie and Quinn had was so much fun to read; it was full of lust, desire and passion.
Although the story begins with them both wanting nothing more than a no strings, friends with benefits arrangement, things begin to change. As the story progresses, deeper feelings begin to surface and it was such a joy to read how their simple fun-loving friendship turned into something so much more. I loved how they just understood each other and together they just made sense.
“So, we’re going to do this? You’re mine?”
This story had it all for me; love, friendship, steam, humor and emotion. If you are looking for a beautifully written story that is sure to set your kindle on fire, then definitely check this one out because Charlie and Quinn are well worth getting to know. I wait with anticipation to see what journey Isabel Love takes us on next.

If you’re looking for something extremely dirty to read, you will enjoy this kinky thrill ride. You impatient bad girls out there—and you know who you are—don’t even have to wait until you’re halfway through the book to get to the “good parts.” Things get naughty in chapter one and only heat up from there.
Charlie and Quinn are such entertaining characters. I loved how honest and easygoing they are. Their friends with occasional benefits arrangement works well for both of them. Neither wants a relationship, they are well matched in the bedroom, and they openly hook up with other people without any jealousy.
The plot itself is quite simple. Quinn and Charlie decide to explore a more unconventional relationship by indulging in their wicked fantasies together. If sex is all you’re looking for, this book will more than meet your expectations. Personally, I prefer erotica to have more heart and legitimate connections between the main characters besides Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ma’am. Isabel Love delivers that with Unconventional, which is one of the reasons why I liked this book so much.
I loved the second chance romance aspect and the build up toward a real relationship. I appreciated how their walk on the wild side forces Quinn and Charlie to examine issues of trust and what their sexual urges say about them. Throughout this process, they manage to have fun and a lot of raunchy sex (*cough* threesomes *cough*). The camaraderie between their best friends is super sweet. However, Charlie and Quinn have turbulent relationships with their families, as well as intriguing histories that make the story more interesting.
There are times when Charlie’s reactions are over the top and rash, particularly toward the end. I also found it frustrating when the characters create drama that could easily be avoided by behaving like adults and talking about their problems.
Is the story deep? No, but I don’t expect great depth from hardcore erotica. Is it addictive? Since I read it straight through without stopping, I’d say yes indeedy. It’s also surprisingly emotional in places. This is the first book I’ve read by Isabel Love, but it won’t be the last.

I picked up Unconventional due to many positive reviews. Especially the steamy part. I am weary at first since threesome is not my thing. I decided to take the adventour with this book.
The story itself is hot... only about half of the book. Then it started to feel flat. To me the threesome does not elevate the plot/ chemistry but just to add more steam factor into the story. I prefer the steamy part playing important role/ part into the story.
Well... listening to this audiobook is still better then filling ny tax return....
Overall this is OK read.

5 Debauched & Satisfaction Stars
To be honest I was scared shitless to start this book. This might be dumb, I've read my fare share of different books and genres and here I was scared to start an erotic book. I knew when I read Untouchable Quinn & Charlie's version of love was really different than mine and I wasn't sure I would handle their relationship right.
So to be clear from the start, that was the dumbest thing I could have thought! I'm really laughing at myself right now because Quinn & Charlie were exactly just very sexual human being comfortable in their own skin. And they enjoy themselves much more than any other couple I've read about.
“Rule number one: don’t think, just feel.”
I'm going to say it again, Unconventional is an erotic book. There are a lot of sex, lots of creative positions, ideas to satisfy your Tumblr/porn addiction and for those interested they are threesomes! I know some don't need to know more but you should be aware that underlying all this there's also two sensitive people falling in love in the most natural way.
“Kneel down, Red. I want your mouth on my cock. You can decorate it with that lipstick of yours, make it into a work of art.”
Charlie is for me the one who steal the show. Dirty talker, carefree and confident, he goes for what he wants when he wants it. You wouldn't believe how gold his heart is when you meet him the first time. He is charming, sweet, loving and protective.
Quinn is as open-minded as he is and they both share a good time when they get the chance. Their relation is based on sex only and it suits them perfectly. The way their relationship transforms into friendship was utterly realistic. What I love the most was the respect they have, how they trusted each other implicitly. Charlie was so attentive to Quinn's feeling; he made her feel comfortable in who she was and what she wanted. They both discover pleasure together with only the limits they want to set.

~Sigh~ this book is a giant sexfest right from the beginning and I had such high hopes for Charlie and Quinn.
Don't get me wrong, there are some really hot scenes...phewwww! In fact, some of them are a first for me. I just wanted more story for Charlie and Quinn and when we do get to their story lines, you can tell that it would've been great to have them expanded on.
But this is the author's story so let me get to reviewing it...
Charlie and Quinn met through their friends, (and characters from the first book, Untouchable), Max and Monica. Everyone thinks they would be a great couple but Charlie and Quinn do not do anything "couples" besides hook ups that is.
And they certainly do hook up...and like it. One night at the club, something changes when Quinn sees Charlie with a big busted blonde and then later comes upon them getting frisky. She just can't turn away. Charlie sees her watching and that turns him on even more...just not for the big busted blonde. And he and Quinn end up leaving together.
They start spending more and more time together and not just for hook ups (Yay!). They enjoy and support one another, even going as far as having dinner at each other's parent's homes.
Like I mentioned earlier, there's a ton of sex in this book and these two quickly indulge themselves in each other fantasies. Some are a bit out there but all of them are hot. The main point is that they only "see" each other which I really liked.
These two are a lot alike...not only with their families, their occupations but also with some drama that has happened in their pasts. I loved how much Quinn was there for Charlie especially when he needed her. I just wish she would've opened up to him sooner but then again, we would've missed the big drama.
I was happy with the way things worked out. I really like these two. It just boils down to too much sex and not enough story for me.
Next up is Anna's story, Unforgivable, and I'm definitely on the fence about this one. I'll just have to see if my curiosity wins out!

Charlie and Quinn agreed to a no-strings-attached relationship and became friends with benefits. Through this kind of set-up, they were able to "fulfill" some of their sexual fantasies. As they spent more time with each other, they are happy and contented. When apart they missed one another more than they care to admit. Due to constant togetherness, Charlie & Quinn decided to take their relationship to the next level and became a couple. As the story develops, we’ll learn the deeper reason why Charlie & Quinn are determined on not having a serious relationship with anyone from the start. Something happened in their past that is now affecting their relationship. Will they be able to fix it and live happily ever after?
Unconventional my first book from this author and just blew me away not only because of the scorching scene (warning: you may need to fan yourself once in a while), moreover, because the story is just engrossing from beginning to end. Isabel Love was able to capture my attention the moment I started reading this book! I highly recommend this if you’re into second chance romance, erotic, ménage, and everything in between. This book is your next best read!

Yup, you heard it: Hands down, HOTTEST. BOOK. I'VE. EVER. READ!!!!
Isabel spoke so much about how this was her hottest book to date and I must admit, I questioned this. How hot could a book get? But once I turned those pages, lord help me. Safe to say, this book made me sweat...and then some.
Charlie and Quinn are by far the hottest people I have ever had the chance of reading. But aside from all of their sexcapades and dirty innuendos, I found myself falling further in love with them because of their pasts. These two tortured souls find the best comfort in each other and it's clear to anyone that the chemistry between the two is out of this world! They kept me going and wouldn't allow me to put down the book for one second. I didn't wanna miss what they were up to next! And those two were up to plenty...
This book also brought back some of my babies from Isabel's previous book, UNTOUCHABLE, and oh my heart! I can't wait to read more of them! Isabel truly slays the character game and this woman has me down for any and every book she ever decides to write.

How does one even begin to describe the most filthiest, dirtiest, most erotic book they have ever read?
Yup, you heard it: Hands down, HOTTEST. BOOK. I'VE. EVER. READ!!!!
Isabel spoke so much about how this was her hottest book to date and I must admit, I questioned this. How hot could a book get? But once I turned those pages, lord help me. Safe to say, this book made me sweat...and then some.
Charlie and Quinn are by far the hottest people I have ever had the chance of reading. But aside from all of their sexcapades and dirty innuendos, I found myself falling further in love with them because of their pasts. These two tortured souls find the best comfort in each other and it's clear to anyone that the chemistry between the two is out of this world! They kept me going and wouldn't allow me to put down the book for one second. I didn't wanna miss what they were up to next! And those two were up to plenty...
This book also brought back some of my babies from Isabel's previous book, UNTOUCHABLE, and oh my heart! I can't wait to read more of them! Isabel truly slays the character game and this woman has me down for any and every book she ever decides to write.
If you're looking for a hot as sin book that'll have you turning up the A/C while also having you set up a date with your favorite toy, then this is your book!

3,5. Não me pegou de jeito esse livro. Veja, é super hot, tem um enredo muito legal, mas não me envolvi com os personagens. E no final não deu pra acreditar que ele não questionou alguma marca do passado dela.

Ladies be ready because you will be hot, bothered and swooning throughout this entire story! The name of the book, Unconventional, could not be more perfect to describe the relationship between Charlie and Quinn. The two have been burned by love in the past, so they're casual "friends with benefits" relationship suits them just fine. This is a fun, hot, kinky read, but trust me when I say it's nothing short of a great love story!
Quinn is as independent as they come, feisty and always looking for the good in life. She's a successful artist and is not ashamed of her forward behavior with men. She exudes so much confidence, but like the rest of us is also vulnerable. Charlie has a very similar personality and clearly this is why they get along so well. Neither of them expects "more" from one another, so them spending more and more time together because there is no pressure seems to be a natural progression for them. Getting a dual POV in this scenario makes it all the more enjoyable with these characters.
The flow of the story is great. The way Isabel transitions between the hot sexy times, sad times and fun is seamless. The progression of their relationship is heartfelt and honest. What's so great about this story is you will be hot and bothered, you will cry and you will laugh out loud.
This was another great read by Isabel Love. She is one to follow, you cannot forget her awesome story telling! I would definitely recommend this book.
