Monica Morgan is off limits. One-hundred percent untouchable.

Too bad I didn't know that when we first met.
We were just two strangers in a club, drawn together by chemistry.
Hot, SIZZLING chemistry.

Imagine my surprise when I discover that she's my new boss.
And now that we work together, she's determined to keep it professional.

My problem? I can't forget the night we met.
That searing kiss. The way she felt in my hands.

I find myself willing to break the rules to get closer to her.
Though she tries to fight it, I know she feels it, too. This pull.

It's all in the way she fidgets whenever I'm around.
It's all in those lingering, hungry looks she casts my way when she thinks no one is watching.

Despite the risk to my job that comes with pursuing her, I can't seem to stay away from her.
I want to forget about the rules and make her mine.

Untouchable is a fantastic debut novel that has so many of my favorite things! Forbidden love- check! Office romance- check! Younger man/Older woman- check! Emotional and steamy- double check! Love’s writing was strong and I found myself forgetting this was a debut novel while reading.

Monica is a woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. She has a high stress, time consuming job that she takes very seriously and she doesn’t let loose very often. One night though, she decides to go out dancing. While on the dance floor, she has a seriously hot moment with a seriously sexy guy. Who she never expects to see again. Then one day, Monica is at work (she’s an ER physician and the director of the ER) and meets one of her new nurses. His name is Max. And he is the guy from the dance floor…
“Tell me you feel it too.”
“We shouldn't,” I protest weakly.
“That isn’t what I asked you.” He’s so close to me now, I can feel his breath on my face. “Do you feel what I feel?”
“What do you feel?”
“Like my body comes to life when you walk into the room.” My mouth goes dry at his admission. “Monica? Do you feel it too?”

The sexual tension between Max and Monica is there and their chemistry is off the charts. It’s apparent they both want one another. Something is there between them. But how will they navigate it? Working together makes things hella complicated!

Untouchable is one of those books that pulls you in from the first chapter and never lets go. I loved both Monica and Max. Monica is strong willed an hard working. Max is caring, sweet, and sexy. I loved that the heroine was the older more successful boss in this book. It put a nice spin on the cliche troupe of workplace/forbidden love. I adored these two together. When they let themselves just be together, they were such a great match. And can I take a moment to talk about the heat in this book… *fans self*… For those of you that love steamy reads, one click this baby now!

Not only was this book filled with sexiness, it was emotional and laugh out loud funny at times. It had just enough angst and of course, forbidden love! I enjoyed Isabel’s writing style and I can’t wait for more in this series. I adored the secondary characters so knowing their books are next makes me super happy! I fell in love with this story and give it 5 stars! <3

LIVE!

"I have to go to work and see Max again. I have to act like I didn’t have a dream about him fucking my brains out then masturbate to thoughts of said dream.
Piece of cake."

➦OK. So I have a list of important questions. Of questions I would ask a murse. A hot murse. In case I ever came across one. Because you have to be prepared, people. My ideal one would hands down be this dude right here:

Oh, btw he's an actual real male nurse and prefers to be called a murse. how cute.

Right. Questions, in no particular order of importance:

•Was I supposed to tie this gown in the front? Muh bad!

•Something's up with my breathing. Like, tooootally out of breath. Mouth to mouth, please?

•Do you, by any chance, make house calls? I'm indisposed and can't travel. nuhuh

•I know you're not a gyno but you should be, at the very least, qualified to do a breast exam... right?

•I'm seriously injured, can I please stay overnight? *stubs toe hard*

➦Crap, I'm seriously getting carried away here, let me get back to the actual review. So, as you've derived from above the hero of this novel is a male nurse. And the heroine is a hospital director, I think... a hot woman boss, an uptight workaholic and a lonely human being. Can this murse remind her how to have fun again and ultimately find happiness?

➦This is Isabel Love's debut novel and I thought it was wonderfully written and well balanced. It had good amount of banter, steam and angst. I especially enjoyed the angsty bits because I felt bad for the situation these two main characters found themselves in. It was great to be in their heads and I enjoyed every moment of it.

➦I am looking forward to reading Isabel Love's upcoming installments in this series and I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary romances with a forbidden office affair trope and generally wants to drool over hot murse, albeit an imaginary one.

5 Mesmerizing Stars ⭐️

Dr Monica Morgan is a 32 year old single woman in need of a dance and a drink’. With a job that consumes her waking hours, she can’t remember the last time she relaxed.

On a night out to just dance and release some stress, she loses herself on the dance floor to a complete stranger. When good sense kicks in, she flees.

Max Spencer ‘male nurse’ is utterly charming & adorable and completely shocked to learn that his new boss is none other then the goddess that fled that night at the club. Such a pity that Dr Morgan wants that night forgotten.

"The universe is playing a joke on me right now."
"What does that make her? My boss? No, my boss’s boss.
Translation: untouchable.
Fuck. I want to touch her again."

When both Max and Monica can no longer avoid one another at work, they settle on a friendship. If only they could stop fantasizing about each other.

“I know I promised you I wouldn’t kiss you again…”
“You did.”
“I need you to let me break that promise, and I need you to not fire me if I do, because…I really want to kiss you right now.”

They may agree to take things slowly but spending time together just proves that they have so much more then chemistry.

‘A smile steals across his face and he looks so happy. Thank fucking god. “You love me?” he asks.
“Yes.” I smile back at him. “You want me to say it again?”

Untouchable is a wonderful story with characters that are hard not to love. This book is filled with heart melting romance, no petty drama, and just two people that are perfect together. Not to mention a side cast of friends that will have you smiling and wishing that they were yours.

Our heroine just needs to realize that work or society’s standards shouldn’t dictate ones happiness. I loved this book!

Just as a side note, if you need another reason to read this fantastic book, Isabel Love writes some of the most refreshingly original sexy, erotic and delicious sex scenes...

This debut novel was so good from start to finish!

It's told in two POVs: 1- Monica who is a young, respectable physician, director of the department, and 2- Max who is a sexy, handsome male nurse. Although Monica is wealthy, humble, all class, she never acts like a spoiled girl and is quite down-to-earth. She is a hard-working doctor who has no time for love. Max wasn’t born rich, he’s worked hard for his degree in nursing. Their chemistry is off the roof from their first meeting when Max sees her in a club and dances with her. That passionate dance had a strong and unforgettable impact on their minds and hearts…The second time they meet, he realizes that Monica is his new boss and she’s strictly off-limits. Will Max win Monica’s heart? Or will their differences destroy any chance for love?

This is a forbidden romance novel that captured my attention and my heart. The way Monica and Max fight their attraction but still flirt with each other is adorable and they get to know each other along the way.

I really enjoyed Untouchable. I expected it to be predictable but it wasn’t. It was very honest and filled with passion just like the h/H’s relationship. It’s a forbidden romance novel with boss-employee / age / social issues. The author did this really good…where else can you read about three taboo subjects and in the end feel good about it? This story was more than just sex. It had depth and intense emotions. It was a great story and soooooooo hot!!

In short:
Hero 5/5 | Heroine 5/5 | Plot (Point, Originality) 5/5 | Writing Style 4/5 | Steam 5/5 | Romance 5/5 | Angst-Suspense 4/5 | Darkness 0/5 | Humor 3/5 | Secondary Characters 4/5 | Drama-Conflict 4/5 | Mystery 0/5 | Twists 5/5 | Pacing Steady | Action 4/5

“Monica Morgan is off limits. One-hundred percent untouchable.”

Is this seriously Isabel Love’s debut novel? Surely not… well it is and I can’t believe it. It was superb and I keep asking myself “why oh why did it take me so long to read this?” Untouchable just ticked all the boxes for me and contained some of the many tropes I love; forbidden romance and office romance. This story literally sucked me in from the start with its perfect balance of angst, steam and humor.

Monica is not only a doctor but is also the director of the ER, so not surprisingly work takes up most of her time and her life is a mix of huge amounts of stress and countless responsibilities. One night though, she throws caution to the wind and decides to go dancing. This is the perfect escape for her from reality.

“Each piece of him – his muscular chest, sinewy arms, tapered waist, and strong thighs – completes my checklist for the perfect man.”

While dancing the night away and relishing the temporary freedom, the beat of the music puts her at ease and she comes in contact with a stranger…. A tall, dark and sexy stranger. He is quite possibly the most beautiful and perfect specimen of a man Monica has ever come across.

When Monica is back at work she meets one her new male nurses, Max. Max in none other than the perfect hot stranger she met whilst dancing at the club. She never expected to see him again, let alone have him working for her. I knew then that things were about to get really interesting…

“What does that make her? My boss? No, my boss’s boss.
Translation: Untouchable.
Fuck.
I want to touch her again.”

The sexual attraction and chemistry between Monica and Max was instantaneous and out of this world crazy hot. There is most definitely a force that is greater than them that is pulling them towards each other and it is obvious they desire one another intensely. They both know the attraction is forbidden which in turns makes them both untouchable to one another (pardon the pun.)

“I love the combination of gentle and rough, the way he talks dirty to me while giving me more pleasure than anyone ever has before.”

I loved this story and it really captivated me from the start. I loved these characters and I especially loved how the heroine was the boss for a nice change of pace. So many forbidden love/office romances the boss is the hero, so it was a nice change to this much loved trope. Monica was such an admirable heroine; she was strong, determined and hardworking and Max had a beautiful heart, really sweet and so sexy. He can give me CPR anytime…

If you are looking for your next read to be the perfect mix of hotness, angst, emotion and hilarity then definitely give this one a go. Recommended for all fans of forbidden office romances consisting of stellar writing and characters you can’t help but fall in love with. GO ON… One click this one, you know you want to…

Meet Max the sexy guy nurse who got himself through school while supporting his sister dear god he was perfection. You just can't write this shit...heheh

Monica Morgan Our heroine was an especially enjoyable POV. She a strong independent woman in a tough job that requires her to work harder and be better than everyone. So she wasn't a total idiot yayayay..... but it also caused her to get a little tightly wound.

For a short book, she had a pretty big character developing going from she went from a quiet strict piece of wood to a more developed person that learned to have fun and find ways to enjoy her life...with Max, always with Max *dreamy eyes*

Overall it was a damn good fun read. The sexual tension between Max and Monica is absolutely present and their chemistry is off the charts with the very sexy work romance dangers vibes. It had good amount of banter, steam and angst that had me speed reading through this but then I had to force myself to slow down because I wasn't ready to be done with these characters so quickly. Honestly, I can't believe this was Isabel Love’s debut novel, I will absolutely be keeping my eye on this author and recommend you do the same!

I received a ARC for a honest review.

WOW, like just wow. I have to say from the very beginning it didn't disappoint and that is VERY rare.

It was a very well written book and I applaud Isabel for this is her debut novel.
So we have Monica Morgan who's the Hospital director and Max who's a nurse . Not just any nurse but a nurse within her section of the hospital.
So of course its a Forbidden Love kind of story. But like every Forbidden Love story you know that won't stop them from keeping there hands to themselves ;D

We see there relationship grow and become something really beautiful. There are some obstacles but I think that really made the characters evolve more and open up.

This book will most definitely become a favorite for me, especially because of Max. His character was written so well and so put together like I don't think I've read a book with a male character like him.

So if you guys are interested in something Forbidden then I would check this book out ;D

Untouchable was AMAZING!!!! I could not get enough of Max and Monica!! I am absolutely in love with this book and everything about it! I never wanted it to end.

This story had me captivated from chapter one. HOLY HELL. Monica and Max's first encounter had me on fire. EVERYWHERE. And after that? I. COULD. NOT. STOP. READING. It was sexy, fun and so damn hot!!!! Oh god. I'm just a big puddle of lusty love over this romance!

MAX!!! OMG. He is EVERYTHING. He's kind, sexy, charming, caring, hilarious and a good guy! The way he sees Monica had me super swooning. He's perfection. I have hearts in my eyes for this guy! Max is TO. DIE. FOR!

TO.

DIE.

FOR.

This love journey had me feeling so many EMOTIONS. I laughed out loud so damn much my face hurt! I also cried. *clutches heart* Isabel Love definitely knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat! All of my emotions were at her mercy, and I loved it! I felt like I was right there with Max and Monica. My heart did all of the things! ALL. OF. THEM. GOD! This book gave me so many FEELS I cannot even!

Untouchable had all of my favourite things. The sexy times were out of this world and left me breathless. The banter between the main characters were on point! The bromance, yes yes yes! Oh damn. Dirty talk? Oh yesss, Max is a master of dirty talk! I could go on an on an on. But let me tell you. I read A LOT of books, and there are only so many that leave me in the state I'm in. All swoony and reminiscing and smiling non stop. I've been talking about this book constantly since I finished it. I know a good thing when I see it and I will tell everyone I know. I don't fuck around. I am so excited for everyone to read it! So if you are reading this review I want you to take a chance on a new author, I think you will love this story!

THREE.5 I WANT YOU STARS.

"I've already touched her. And I want to do it again."

description

I really enjoyed my time spent reading this debut authors work. I was impressed with the attention and obvious love that had gone into bringing this book to life. Isobel love has set the bar high for her first novel and I can only anticipate that this author will continue to produce romance novels for addicts such as myself to adore. With plenty of sizzle, a taste of angst and moments of comedy this author has in my opinion produced a well rounded romance for readers to sink their teeth into.

description

What did I love?
I have to start by saying that this cover alone deserves five stars, they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but I know I speak for a lot of romance readers when I say we are all a sucker for a gorgeous cover. Moving on, I really enjoyed the pace of story telling that the author created here. There was plenty to keep me interested and enough of this authors 'stamp' to keep it feeling original. I liked the medical theme to the story telling and there was definitely parts of the plot that I did not see coming. For my tastes I always like to see the secondary characters in any story grab some attention and I thought the author did a great job of highlighting friendships and family connections. The erotic themed scenes were blush worthy and most certainly sizzling hot and the story was kept alive with lots of emotion, romance and gorgeous one liners. If you can't tell by now I really liked this debut novel and I'm impressed by the quality of finish.

Why not five?
There was plenty to like about this romance and I'm sure there will be many readers who will fall in love with Isobel Love's writing. And for the most part I did too. However, for my tastes I didn't find myself connecting with or falling in love enough with the main characters. I wanted to champion their connection and feel apart of their journey and sadly it fell a little short in that department for me. All in all this was a likeable romance that fell somewhere in the middle of a three and four star. I didn't quite reach falling in love status with this book but I'm certainly looking forward to more from Isobel Love.

description

Final thoughts ...
If you are in the market for a sweet, uber sexy, doctor/nurse love story then this will be right up your street. Be ready for plenty of steam and a love story that won't give up ... Bravo, Isobel Love. Here's to many more stories to come. Enjoy, readers ... kisses

4.5-5 STARS <33

"I see the desire in his eyes as he eats me up with his gaze, and I like it."

Such an amazing story!Isabel Love delivers a steamy, super hot, emotional, fast paced and beautiful story. There are so many things that I liked about this story.

description

"What started out as pure lust and physical attraction has blossomed into more."

First of all the heroine is older than the hero and I really like it because it isn't something that we find often in books.Secondly we have dual POV which is fantastic because we get to know what both characters are thinking. Moreover, the writing is amazing, once you start reading you can't put it down. And last but not least the romance is forbidden which is one of my favorite kind of romance !!!

Both characters are fantastic,Max is hot, funny, smart and sweet.Monica is strong and lovely. The romance is super hot, intense, emotional and sensual. There is sexual tension between Monica and Max and their chemistry is off the charts.

There is also the perfect amount of drama to spark your interest!
I was lucky enough to beta read and now that I read it a second time it was even better!!Untouchable is a refreshing and well written story, you should definitely try this one!!!I'm so excited for the next book!!!

This is Isabel Love’s first novel and I was immediately impressed! I felt the story was well written and didn’t feel like a debut book.

The story is told in dual point of view and we first meet Monica. Monica is a successful doctor and very dedicated. Her entire life is her job and she has a reputation for being a rule follower. She also has this other side of her, who loves dancing, letting loose and just living. That’s how she meets Max. Max is a younger man and is immediately attracted to Monica when he sees her at a nightclub dancing. Monica is lost in dancing and the music, and Max can’t keep his hands off her. Monica in a rare moment of letting go allows herself to just feel and enjoy Max.

These two have an amazing night, but it ends much too quickly. Little did they know their moment wasn’t over yet, they meet again at the hospital. The hospital is Monica’s life and as I have said she isn’t the same Monica he previously met. Navigating their new reality isn’t easy. Monica has to fight her attraction and Max has to fight his growing feelings.

I loved how Max and Monica’s story started. I am all about a forbidden romance and I loved the angst it created. My only issue was how Monica was reluctant as their relationship continued. I didn’t understand why things developed the way they did, but that’s the only minor issue I had. Other than that Untouchable was fun, sexy and a quick read!

An ARC has been provided by the author in exchange for an honest opinion.

For lovers of sweet romance, this is the feel I got from the book:

romantic kissing photo Belle-Clochard-83777_zpslopvefaj.gif

3,75 to 4 sweet love stars

This brand new author with her first book has created a sweet story perfect for romance lovers.

It’s been really easy to follow Max and Monica in their budding relationship. This is one of these books that takes you by the hand, immerse you in a bubble of pink and leave you with a smile by the end.

If you like dark, twisted and complicated stories with traumatized heroes this won’t be your cup of tea.

If you’re an angst junkie if you can only read stories with twists and turns at every page following a rocket pace that’s not for you either.

BUT

If you’re a romantic;

If you like doctor / nurse stories;

If you like the female character slightly older than the male character;

If you like your male character to be a real great guy the one you would introduce to your mother and have your babies with because you know he will hold your hair while you’re puking on the toilet;

If you like a little bit of forbidden love but not huge taboos just more socially touchy;

If you like your stories real with relatable characters (the guy and girl next door) filled with small details about the MC’s work, their hobbies, the little things they would do for each other ;

If you don’t like angst and just want one or two twists in your story to keep you interested and not bored out of your mind

THEN

This is your book.

In a nutshell: Monica is Max’s boss and they’re attracted to each other. Monica is work driven for years now and has no time to date. It would also not really set a good example in the ER or at least the gossip machine would work full speed. What should she do?

“I’m not sure I have time for a relationship, Max. My life is the ER. I work long hours and am on call frequently. I don’t know what you want from me exactly. Do you want to…date me? Have sex with me?”

What was faultless:

Max. I usually love alpha in stories but Max was a refreshing change. He is the epitome of the great guy. He helped his mom, took care of his sisters, worked hard to have a nursing degree while helping his family. He was considerate with Monica, maybe too much when he asked for permission (just go for it mate!) never pushy nor disinterested. Perfect with kids and old ladies alike. He was very good in bed and with a hot bod. So nothing to throw away.

The story setting. I loved all the details about working in a hospital, the pranks some doctors played, some patient’s misfortune (first scene LOL), the woman shelter, the side characters…

What I would have slightly changed or expected:

Monica was a very relatable character BUT I could not stand her bowing to her father or caring more about what her coworkers would think of her relationship with Max than Max himself. I guess that’s what the author aimed for but I was very frustrated with Monica and wanted to shake some sense in her from time to time. When you have an incredible guy pinning for you just go for it and be proud of him being your boyfriend! I know she’ll redeem herself but in the meanwhile I wanted to have a good talk with her. I know she is a fictional character but still…

I personally would have loved some more thrill or angst. I can’t stand angst overload either but just something to make me fume and cower and… I’m complicated just ask my hubs! But that’s my personal taste and this story is perfect if you’re looking for uncomplicated and sweet.

So would I recommend this book: obviously as it’s meant for true romantics and romance lovers. You’ll even adore the ending! Not a bad work at all for a first book.

I'm just going to come out and say it. I love Isabel Love's Unexpected Love series. I started this series with Unconventional which blew me away and now after finishing Untouchable I can with most certainty say that I'm a fan and addicted to her words. I already knew who Max and Monica were because I'd already read Unconventional but that didn't ruin Untouchable for me. Not at all because not much was divulged in Unconventional besides them being a couple.

Untouchable is all about them meeting, dating and how their relationship evolves into more and them struggling with her being Max's boss' boss.
I loved their first meeting in the club. I don't know how Isabel Love does it but damn, she knows how to write eroticism and seduce me. That scene was delicious and really set the tone for Max and Monica. Especially how they are as characters. I loved how slowly they took their relationship, really got to know each other and date. They come across as real people because of their day job and them going out on dates and having fun. Their chemistry is smoldering and every scene with them in or out of bed was amazing. So hot!
The other characters are just as fabulous and their friendships shows how important they are to one another and are supportive no matter what.

Untouchable is Isabel Love's debut and she nailed it. Wow. I loved the story and its wonderful characters. Her flawless and seductive prose only leaves me wanting more.

Loved this so much!! I absolutely loved Max he was so hot and sweet and just perfect! Monica was a good h, but then she made me mad but then she made up for it so it all worked out lol. I loved that thy didn't fight their attraction and went for it. They do hide it from their coworkers and that was fine but then it became an issue and that is when Monica made me mad. Like I said though it all works out. The book is so good, hot and safe! Nice little epilogue at the end as well

We have a sneak peak of book 2 and it will be about Quinn and Charlie, now just from reading this book I knew I probably wouldn't read their book cause I don't think it will be safe and the sneak peak just confirms it! Now if it changes I might give it a shot but I will not read a book where the h sees the hero make a ow have an orgasm! Just not going to happen

I found my new book boyfriend. Meet Max! A make nurse. Max makes a male nurse hot and sexy. If only this world have enough Max, the world will be better place., even in pandemic.

Lately I have been wondering about story in romance genre. We have this all sort of alpha male character. From billionaire, playboy, famous sport/ movie star/ rock star, MC, mafia etc. And yet, I have not found a story where the heroine has the upper status. Until I stumbled upon Untouchable. Miss Love give me my wish. Monica, the heroine is the doctor and Max, the hero is nurse.

Their chemistry is explosive, thanks to Max. He is so sweet, polite, kind and so dirty in bed. My favorite type of boyfriend. He is also grounded with his background. Like I said, the world needs more Max. I love the story. The story is simple with min angst/ drama. It is very predictable and yet I am hooked.

Monica is a doctor and the Manager of her Department in the hospital that she's working. She's also, according to her coworkers, really uptight and very professional looking , even though she's the youngest Manager. Monica wants to be respected and be taken seriously, that's why she decides to go to another town to dance in a nightclub and that's where she meets Max.

Max is drawn to this sexy woman dancing alone at the dancing floor, so he approaches her and the chemistry between them is palpable. The woman disappears and he's not used to girls reacting like that, especially when they just shared a moment there. The surprise gets even better when they meet again in the hospital, because Max is the new nurse in the department that Monica is the manager and that makes things hard between them.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and it was definitely well written considering it's a debut novel. I loved that it didn't follow the usual stereotypes and went against cliches, showcasing a female being the rich boss and a guy being the nurse. I also loved the characters, especially Max, he was a really lovely character and book boyfriend material. The secondary characters were also fun to read.

I strongly recommend to read this debut novel and you'll certainly be pleasantly surprised. I know that the storyline will definitely stick with me and I would gladly reread it sometime in the future. If you like Grey's Anatomy, then this book may remind you of this show, with all the workplace romance at least.

This was one interesting read for me – interesting because for a long while, I couldn’t decide if I should rate it 2, 3 or 4 stars...
Yeap, I am confused like that...
So, maybe 3 is the best way to get rid of this indecisiveness :)

"Untouchable" is the story of Max & Monica.

Monica is a doctor and she is the director of the ER in a hospital. Her father is a doctor, too. She is 32 years old. She comes from a very rich family. She is wealthy.

Max is a nurse in the same hospital and they work together. He is 25 years old. He comes form a poor family. His mother cleans other people’s houses as a second job to make ends meet.

All these facts above DO NOT CHANGE – like ever!

If the age difference and social status difference will bother you, don't even get started!

Plot line

Max & Monica meet each other before they work at the same hospital. Their story stars at a night club. She meets him there while she is dancing. They are incredibly attracted to each other. They dance, kiss and get close to each other as much as possible on the dance floor, then she gets panicked and leaves him there.

Their second meeting is at the hospital when she sees that Max is the new nurse who joins her team.

They try to stay away from each other but they can’t. So, they start dating "secretly" because Monica insists that they should keep it a secret from the people at work as she is afraid of people gossiping about her, judging her and she is also scared of losing her job and credibility.

The relationship between Max & Monica in their own bubble is always sweet and sizzling hot.

Max is really a gem, he is swoon-worthy, indeed. Monica is sometimes likable and sweet but most of the time she got on my nerves due to her selfishness and cowardliness. The way she treats Max was sometimes very annoying.

This attitude of her DOES NOT CHANGE until Max has had enough of her fears and asks her to decide if she wants everything with him or if she is ashamed of him. This is followed by an unnecessary tragedy, and she sees how important Max is for her. (Better late than never :)

I tried to understand Monica. She has a really awful father who judges everyone easily and she is apparently under his influence and that is why, it takes a long time for her to accept that Max is more important than her job or other people.

For all the reasons above, I have mixed feelings about this book. You decide if it is your thing or not...

I was fortunate to beta read this debut novel and enjoyed every minute of it. If you love work romance, forbidden love that is all kinds of sexy, steamy and fun, then you must read this!

Monica and Max meet in a club and have one HOT encounter. Only to discover days later that Monica is Max's new boss! Suddenly, Monica wants to keep things professional, but Max has other plans.

This is one sexy story and Max is truly swoon-worthy. He is the perfect mix of hot and sweet. And the sex scenes -- OFF THE CHARTS!

This is a great debut novel from an author you won't want to miss out on. I'm looking forward to what else she has in store! I'm seriously hankering for Charlie & Quinn's book. It promises to be naughty, dirty and HOT!

4.5 " I want everything with you " stars

I feel extremely lucky this year with new authors. After S.M. West & Saffron A.Kent, Isabel Love is the perfect addition to my bookshelf. I mean, is this really her first novel? I'm so impressed by everything. It makes me think there are so many authors out there waiting for their books to be read and it's fantastic to know that everyone deserve a chance if you are willing to take it.

Untouchable was absolutely phenomenal. It gives me a sense of happiness while reading. First the cover is stunning! It's true when they say you judge a book by his cover, and what's in it is as much incredible as the first feeling I had.

Max and Monica are sweet, beautiful and sexy together. Even though their story is a little on the forbidden side because they work together, they need for each other is insatiable and their chemistry is undeniable.

Monica is the director of an ER department while Max is a new nurse. Even if they met before, the situation is not easy to handle. Monica is pretty uptight in her job while Max is carefree. Will Monica be able to let loose?

Both characters are endearing. Monica is a woman you get attached easily and you won't be able to resist Max Spencer and his blue eyes.

“I know I promised you I wouldn’t kiss you again…”
“You did.”
“I need you to let me break that promise, and I need you to not fire me if I do, because…I really want to kiss you”

description

I read on Isabel love Facebook page that she loves writing kissing scenes and it shows. There are tons of hot kissing scenes and I loved them all! I'm taking notes while reading to remember what was important and what I enjoyed and this one one of the thing I wrote -> Lots of Kiss = Hell yeah!

And can we take a minute to talk about the sex scenes because hell there were off the charts!! Max can be really naughty and his dirty talking was scorching !

Max: We’re making a bucket list.
Me: What’s on this list?
Max: #1 -Me tying you up.
Max: #2 -Public sex.
Max: #3 -You touching yourself while I watch.

Untouchable is the real package with all you enjoy in romance. Can I also add the story is drama free? Yes no unnecessary drama. If it's not a top priority for you, I don't know what will!

I want to finish my review by talking about book 2, yes I'm already ahead. There's an excerpt at the end and I was all over the place after reading it! Isabel I think you and I are going to get along just fine! You are such a tease and I already see you'll push each one of my buttons! While I admit you goes beyond my comfort zone, I can't wait to read more!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2.5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Debut author Isabel Love is also a romance book blogger and I picked this book up because of the buzz going on about it on my facebook timeline. The Indie Romance community did good, you just couldn’t miss this release on social media and with all the 5 stars reviews popping out? Curiosity piqued.

I love a good forbidden romance, not only that but an office romance between an older woman and a younger man? Yes, yes, yes.

Overall, I liked the story despite being pretty basic as office romances go by. I expected more tension, more angst maybe. Definitely.

Monica Morgan is a talented thirty-two years old doctor and director of the ER department. Afraid of being judged by her pairs regarding her rather young age she puts up a sterile and almost frigid facade at work but knows how to unload through dancing.
Abandoning herself to the music one night at a club, she is soon experiencing a pretty hot and steamy dance session with a stranger. Enters the picture Max, gorgeous and off the charts sexy. Ashamed and afraid at how far things escalated on the dance floor that night, Monica escapes leaving behind her an amazed and horny stranger.

Max Spencer is a twenty-five years old nurse and about to start his new job at the same ER department as Monica.
He’s your typical perfect hero. He’s gorgeous, collected, has great friends and family.

Both realize they know each other and soon the incredible chemistry they shared one night on a dancefloor resurfaces making things a bit complicated for Monica at work. A secret affair turned into more begins but with Monica’s fears to be judged by her colleagues, Max feels more and more like a dirty secret than an equal lover.

Untouchable is written as a dual POV, starting with Monica’s 1st person POV and unfortunately her "voice" instantly annoyed me. And with every new chapter I could pin-point why exactly.I just couldn’t believe the woman reciting her tale was thirty-two years old. And a doctor at that!
Some tidbits about her insecurities regarding cunnilingus made me question her background story as we are told she had wild teenage years and started her sex life early. Not only that, but as a thirty-two years old female doctor, you would think she is past that kind of fallacies.
Also the "down there" / "back there" used to refer to her privates was another thing I wouldn’t expect an experimented doctor to say.
"What if it smells bad down there? Shit, we danced all night and I was so sweaty—it has to smell bad down there. Plus, I didn’t shave my pubic hair. What if he gets hair in his mouth? I should have showered"

The hero’s voice was great and I don’t recall having any concerns with it. His character seemed more in tune with his first person voice, and much more relatable. I found him to be a great hero, steady and unfailing when the heroine seemed fickle and inconstant in her thoughts. Although I just couldn’t determine if he was an alpha, a beta? Both? I think he’s a people pleaser. Everyone will love him.
And maybe that was the author’s intent. The all around lovable hero, great with women, caring with children, respectable, honest and fierce. Maybe suddenly a little too fierce or maybe I’m the only one finding his surge of possessiveness cliché as well as inappropriate?
"I only want you, and to be honest, the thought of some other man being your date[…] It makes me feel violent."

I'm probably on my own with this one seeing the heroine's answer to his tirade : " You make me feel safe. "

Some descriptions had me cringing more than once, the author repeatedly mentioning a " hard erection " regardless of an erection being by definition, a hard penis. Also talking about an erection as you would an actual organ is strange. Would you say you want to look at what a woman’s state of arousal looks like?
"… his hard erection against me."

"My legs wrap around his hips and I feel his erection. It’s hard. So hard. I wonder what it looks like. What it feels like. What it tastes like."

Not only that but isn’t it a little repetitive to tell me about his hard erection and then wonder how it would feel? Let me take a wild guess. It would feel hard.

The heroine’s breast also behaved rather … strangely. Unless you are Nicky Minaj and bouncing up and down on a giant ball.

"My breasts move up and down with each breath I take, and I need him to touch them."

"My gaze snags on my nipples and I look down at my breasts. They fall to the sides a bit in this position, swaying with each breath."

They sway? Just from taking a breath?

All of this is probably me nitpicking as usual, but it distracted me enough to make mental notes about it. Having the visual of boobs moving up and down like balloons would during a sex scene? That’s a turn off. Comical, but a turn-off.

And for the love of everything that is sexy, can we please stop interrupt smoking hot momentums with the hero grabbing a bunch of papers serving to prove his dick is worthy of the heroine? You're clean, great. Safe sex is important, but can we please pretty please make this happen outside the bedroom?
If I'm in the middle of a sex scene and suddenly the heroine stops to read your STD test results, then something is wrong! Or was that a quip at "Reading is Sexy" ?

I also had issues with typos here and there and if this Frenchie can spot them it’s never a good thing!

I enjoyed the secondary characters and both MCs backgrounds, with a special mention for Max's family. His women's tribe was truly awesome.

To conclude, Untouchable was a nice surprise from debut author Isabel Love and reads easily even if it missed the mark for me regarding the main character’s connection. I would recommend this one to anyone looking for an easy and steamy read.

3.5 - 4 ★'s

This book starts off with a bang when Max and Monica meet in a club. They get down and dirty...dancing along with ~ahem~ some other stuff which proceeds to freak the hell out of prim and proper Doctor Monica. She takes off thinking that's the last she'll see of the mysterious -no names exchanged- stranger. Little does she know he will start working in her department soon.

The chemistry between the two of them was pretty palatable and it doesn't take long before these two are having sex almost every other chapter. I was a little frustrated because it felt as soon as things were going good...*Oops - time for a sex break*. It just felt heavy handed, however, that's probably just my opinion.

I did like Max. He is very sweet and I loved getting his POV and seeing how much he really cares for Monica. I just felt that sometimes he was a bit too Beta although definitely not in the bedroom...he's all Alpha there!

Monica has been living her life to a standard that's not her own. It takes being with Max for her to figure out her own happiness. It was hard watching her go through stuff and be so timid. I was really happy when she found her backbone.

The drama was a bit too contrived but I did like that it brought Monica to the finish line. It was probably just what she needed to make the full commitment.

Monica and Max work in the ER and there are a few pranks that go on. Some are pretty hilarious and I enjoyed seeing that playfulness.

There's also some "playfulness" between Max and Monica's friends, Charlie and Quinn. I'm really intrigued as to how their romance will play out. Thankfully, their book, Unconventional, is coming out Summer 2017.

Untouchable is sexy, forbidden fun. An off-limits work romance that had me laughing, swooning and fanning myself, all at the same time.

Monica & Max are all sorts of steamy. Their relationship starts with a bang but takes time building to something so much more. I loved the role reversal - Monica is the wealthy doctor, Max the broke nurse. And the angst! Oh, the angst! There's quite a bit, but nothing annoying or over the top ... just the right amount to make you feel for the characters & route for them to find their HEA.

A great debut by Isabel Love. I can't wait for more!

I am so giddy right now! This book was just written at the most perfect pace!

Where do I even begin?

This story follows Monica Morgan, a well-respected doctor, and Max Spencer, a male nurse in her department, as they meet one night at a club and later realize they work together and that the sexual chemistry they had may be off limits.
The relationship between these two just starts immediately and it is so hot and I love that it continues to be this way. What I also love is how sweet and caring Max is towards Monica. I truly felt this love he had for her and there were so many times I clutched at my heart and swooned over Max whenever he did or said something so darn sweet to/for Monica.
So I was extremely happy that this story was told in both POVs, and I liked that this happened within the same chapter.

However, Monica and Max deal with their age difference and their social status as well. Monica is wealthy, but she isn’t one to throw around her money and let others people know about it. Max didn’t come from money and at times he feels like she may deserve better, which totally broke my heart, because Max was truly the best.

I didn’t expect to love this story so much, but the characters pulled me in. Aside from the two MC’s, there is a whole cast of side characters whom I cannot wait to hear more from! They made this story even more memorable and hilarious!
This story took me in for a wild ride of emotions but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I will definitely continue to read more from this author!

If you are looking for a sweet, and definitely sexy, story with a feel-good ending, a few hilarious pranks, and a swoon-worthy male nurse, then this is your book!

I am totally in love with Max Spencer! OMG, he is everything. Full package. Total book husband material (please don't tell Danny Morgan - he's my original book husband). And no, Dr Monica Morgan is no relative of my Danny.

This is how he ticks my boxes:

He is gorgeous
He is sweet and kind
He loves kids
He's great with old ladies
He can dance
He's great with his hands, and his mouth
He's a nurse, so when I'm poorly he can make me better
He works hard
He loves his mum
He's an amazing big brother
He has a great sense of humour
He doesn't take anything for granted
He cooks a mean lasagna
He talks dirty
He's shagalicious

I'm sold! Untouchable was great. I loved the chemistry between Monica and my Max. There was sufficient story line going on to keep me entertained aside from just sexy times.

Bring on Charlie's book. Got to love a piercing. Skipping to Pinterest to find me some sexy nurses.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book

4.5 Sweet Stars

Doctor Monica Morgan used to be a wild child until her mother died when she was 19. Now she lives her life under strict guidelines. But once in a while, she needs to feel free and let her hair down. She loves to dance, and though she feels the need to drive two towns away so she doesn't risk being seen by her staff, it's still part of her.

At a dance club is where she meets Max Spenser. After struggling to support his mother and sisters, Max is out with friends to celebrate graduating from Nursing School and getting a full time job in the ER at the hospital. So when he sees this gorgeous woman dancing alone, he's drawn to her. They have a quick inappropriate moment on the dance floor before she disappears.

Color them both surprised when they both show up in the same ER and Max learns that she's the stiff doctor and director of the ER that everyone has been talking about and Monica realizes Max is the younger new nurse staring in her ER.

These two have chemistry off the charts, and can't stay away from each other. But Monica still cares about appearances and wants to take things slow. But slow leads them into a relationship that gets complicated when Max starts to think Monica is embarrassed by him, then her condescending, socially conscious father comes to town. When a few things happen to throw a monkey wrench into their budding relationship, these two have to decide what's more important; what other people think or being together.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that this was a twist on the power dynamic, with Monica in the position of authority over Max at work. How they both dealt with it from each of their perspectives and what was really at the root of their biggest issues. I really liked the peripheral characters; Logan, Charlie, Tate and Quinn, even Max's sisters and mom. They added dimension to the story and helped give me, as a reader, understanding into who Max and Monica were and what their hangups were because of their conversations with these other characters.

So often, even with much more seasoned authors, I find peripheral characters useless. Maybe they have one conversation with the main character in order to get them to say or reveal something that would have been difficult to know otherwise. But then you never see or hear from them again. They really aren't anything but a vehicle to reveal. This author made sure they had meaning, even the sisters who Skype with Max made sense. I loved what his mother said about Monica, which also helped me to understand, myself, why Monica behaved the way she did.

So why not a full 5 stars. Mostly just because it lagged just a minor bit for me with some of the dating stuff. But that's just my hangup. I may have also been a little tired while reading that section. Overall, I really thought it was a good, well written, quick, light read. Some funny moment, some major sex scenes, and some sad moments. The editing was great and she took great care in grammar. I've read seasoned authors who haven't taken the time this author obviously took to allow us to read this story without trying to figure out what she really meant when it came to grammar and spelling.

I would definitely read this author again.
