TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State women's soccer team tallied a season-high nine corner kicks in Sunday's Missouri Valley Conference match with the Drake Bulldogs as the teams battled to a scoreless draw on Senior Day at Memorial Stadium.

Indiana State (6-9-2, 1-3-1 MVC) pushed their unbeaten streak on Senior Day to four games, as the Sycamores are 2-0-2 on Senior Day over the last four seasons. The Sycamores honored four-year letterwinners Casey Allbright and Kourtney Vassar prior to the match.

Drake (12-4-2, 3-0-2 MVC) dominated the opening five minutes of the match, taking a pair of shots on goal that freshman Erin Mitchell collected for two early saves. Indiana State held possession for much of the remaining 40 minutes of the half, leading 5-3 in shots and 7-0 in corner kicks at the break.

The Sycamores had a pair of good chances to open the scoring in the second half, beginning with an attempt by freshman Sydney Lovelace in the 64th minute. Drake goalkeeper Kalena Litch came out of the penalty box for an attempted clearance, with the ball falling to Lovelace just over midfield. The Indiana State freshman fired towards an empty goal, but her shot roll just wide of the post. In the 69th minute, sophomore Bria Caldwell broke free on the right side of the penalty box, but her hard-hit attempt went wide of the back post.

Indiana State took the only shot on goal in the overtime periods, as freshman Elle Steele's header in the center of the penalty box in the 92nd minute was stopped by Litch.

For the match, Indiana State led 12-10 in shots and 9-1 in corner kicks with both sides taking four shots on goal. Lovelace led the Sycamores with six shots, a category that the freshman for Franklin, Ohio, leads among all newcomers in the conference.

Mitchell posted her fifth shutout of the season for ISU, tying Emily Lahay from 2010 and Carey Patton from 2003 for the best single-season total in school history.

Indiana State closes out the 2012 regular season at Missouri State on Thursday, Oct. 25. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. (ET), 7:00 p.m. locally in Springfield, Mo.
