taking a pair of shots on goal that freshman Erin Mitchell collected for two
early saves. Indiana State held possession for much of the remaining 40 minutes
of the half, leading 5-3 in shots and 7-0 in corner kicks at the break.
The Sycamores had a pair of good chances to open the scoring in the second
half, beginning with an attempt by freshman Sydney Lovelace in the 64th minute.
Drake goalkeeper Kalena Litch came out of the penalty box for an attempted
clearance, with the ball falling to Lovelace just over midfield. The Indiana
State freshman fired towards an empty goal, but her shot roll just wide of the
post. In the 69th minute, sophomore Bria Caldwell broke free on the right side
of the penalty box, but her hard-hit attempt went wide of the back post.

Elle Steele's header in the center of the penalty box in the 92nd minute was
stopped by Litch.

2010 and Carey Patton from 2003 for the best single-season total in school
history.
