Metro Detroit Weather: Chance of showers Saturday night

Overnight readings near 40 degrees

DETROIT – A cold front flops around Detroit and Southeast Michigan over this weekend. It will be the genesis for rain showers, so it'll be wet. At times it will be mild, and other times it'll be chilly.

A chance of showers still exists Saturday evening and Saturday night.

It becomes chillier with dinnertime temps in the 40s and overnight readings near 40 degrees.

The frontal system remains draped over the region Sunday. It will be a bit milder as the cold front move slightly north. Highs will be in the middle 50s with wet weather.

Monday will be soggy in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 60s. It remains mild and mostly cloudy Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s.

Drier weather finally returns Wednesday and Thursday, but it gets cooler. Highs will be in the low 50s each day under partly to mostly sunny skies.
