Way of the Pigeon

Hello sexy internet person(s)! Welcome to the Way of the Pigeon Patreon page and thank you so much for visiting / viewing, you awesome person you! I'm Leroy (aka The 1nteger), one of the many, many, many hungry indie game developer's on here and around the global interwebs, pleasure to meet you! I've been obsessed about and playing games (like many of you) since I was about 5 years old (30+ years' experience in gaming now q(❂‿❂)p). I've been developing games (most never released due to an embarrassment of a lack of riches / fail so to speak) and running sites / business ('experience' more than success unfortunately ʘ‿ʘ) of many kinds for just under 10 years now. At time of writing I do the occasional contract IT job and earn my (regular) income part-time at an anti-piracy company (yes, I may be partly responsible why you can't find the latest episode of The Walking Dead on our favorite neighborhood streaming sites, sorry! ლ(｀ー´ლ)). My aim with this Patreon (aside from the obvious of funding to do what one loves full time) is to create a community around a shared passion and interest of game creation, design, business / theory, ideas and game play, with you, the beautiful ones! So that will be in the form of regular posts, video, live streams (once we hopefully have enough peeps), screenies, alphas, demos, downloads, theory, chat, sharing, caring; everything related to the craft, creativity and the good fight! I believe that through this system of fundraising I will finally be able to keep consistent and create value early during the creation process rather than only after a hopeful release. Many creatives / indies find it hard to complete or compete with the old ways of 'create an idea then interact / charge once its complete and hope for the best'. Visibility is becoming an even huger problem the bigger the internet becomes (contrary to the belief that 'that' simply means more opportunities, just look at mobile ಠ_ಠ). It can be especially hard in this climate (just due to low barrier / cost and sheer volume of people failing much less succeeding) to simply be found after creating something irrespective at times of its quality, without community support, anticipation (or motivation) and guidance. This, then, seems like a great platform to remedy many of these first world problems. So, if my ideas / project(s) interest you and you'd like to start on your path of Pigeon Ninja Mastery then go ahead and grab a tier. All of the previous powers plus a boost in Discord, votes and some extra 'extras' over time probably like extra premium versions of digital downloads (sexier wallpapers, models &amp;/or even more tutorial files / time savers maybe). All of the previous powers &amp; NOTHING else (unless and until we figure out extras, but anything extra and better will live here). Simply put...this tier is for you if you are the type of person that leaves the Pigeon life to the max and likes extra power in important joints like the Discord.
