Jim Lees, noted trial lawyer and teacher, is bringing his expertise on persuasion to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Combining the basic tools of psychology and more than 30 years of courtroom experience, Mr. Lees will explore trial techniques to help you win during the Trump era. In the wake of Patchett v. Lee and Stanley v. Walker, Mr. Lees will also discuss increasing your damages by not putting your client's medical bills into evidence.

Nationally prominent trial attorney and persuasion consultant Jim Lees is well-recognized throughout legal circles in America as one of America's finest trial attorneys, teachers, and consultants. To date Mr. Lees has tried more than 250 jury trials to verdict throughout the United States and has obtained numerous million dollar verdicts on behalf of deserving clients. Within the past several years alone, Mr. Lees has obtained jury verdicts for clients in Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, the District of Columbia, and in his home state of West Virginia.
Steven L. Langer is a partner in the Valparaiso, Indiana law firm of Langer & Langer. Mr. Langer concentrates on Plaintiff’s medical malpractice law, car and truck crashes, and complex litigation.
Mr. Langer is a member of the board of directors and a past president of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. In 2003, he received the Consumer Advocate of the Year award. He is the former president of the College of Fellows of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell, has been selected as a Super Lawyer from 2008-2016, and has written and published numerous articles on medical negligence.
In 2004 and 2009, Mr. Langer received the Trial Lawyer of the Year award from the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Langer is the founder and president of the Porter County Reading Foundation (PCRF). The PCRF sponsors professional development workshops for teachers, a summer tutoring program for elementary school children, and partners with school corporations to put on early intervention programs. The goal of the PCRF is to make it possible for all children to learn to read.
Written cancellation postmarked two weeks prior to the seminar will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee, as a credit toward another ITLA seminar, good for one year. If notice of cancellation is received after that date, the administrative fee increases to $100. FULL REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN, but upon request, we will send you the materials distributed at the seminar.
