KANSAS CITY, MO. – Thanks to his outstanding achievements in the classroom, William Paterson men's basketball sophomore guard
Omer Amir (Kiryak Bialik, Israel/ Ort Kiryak Bialik) was selected to the 2013-14 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.
A transfer from Sussex County Community College, Amir competed in 17 games last season as a first-time Pioneer. A Spring 2014 Dean's List student, he is majoring in marketing at WP.
In order to be named to the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year, and have matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
