SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Syracuse All-Americans Liam Banks and John Zulberti have put together another star-studded team for this year's Orange Alumni Lacrosse Classic. Their collection of superstars will take the field against the 2014-15 Orange Saturday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. in the Carrier Dome as part of an event that has become a highlight of the fall college lacrosse schedule.
 
The 39-man alumni roster includes some of the greatest players in the history of the program, including four-time All-Americans Mike Leveille, Casey Powell and Ric Beardsley. It also features 2014 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Goalie of the Year John Galloway, Team USA midfielder Matt Abbott, 2014 MLL All-Stars Kevin Drew and Joel White and several more current and former pro players.
 
Overall, this year's Alumni All-Star Team boasts a combined 43 college All-America nods between them.
 
This is the fifth year of the Orange Alumni Lacrosse Classic. The 2014 edition once again features two games. A "Legend's Game" starts things off at 1:30 p.m. followed by the 2014-15 Syracuse squad versus the Alumni All-Stars.
 
Tickets for the doubleheader are $10 and can be purchased in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Parking is free. The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going directly to the Syracuse men's lacrosse program.
