Story lines:

Auburn is coming off a very tight victory against Kansas State in a Thursday night road game. Louisiana Tech is looking to bounce back from a loss to FCS Northwestern State. LA Tech has a history of giving Auburn fits, but they have never beaten the Tigers. The closest they've come was a 13-13 tie in 1948.

I have a feeling Auburn tries to throw the ball a good bit in this game. Marshall and the receivers need some work on the passing game, and this is a good chance to get it done in a game situation before they hit the gauntlet. I also expect the running game will be there, CAP and Marshall will bust a few big runs, and we see a good bit of Roc Thomas and/or Peyton Barber in the second half.

Louisiana Tech may move the ball a bit, but they struggled at times against a horrible North Texas team. I expect Auburn's revamped defense steps up in this game and prevents the Bulldogs from getting anything past two scores. This game should be ugly by half time.
