JACKSON, Tenn. – The Union University men's and women's basketball team will be hosting their annual Bulldog Madness event Thursday, October 23 at Union's Fred DeLay Gymnasium.
 
The event will be free to all and will start at 8:00 p.m. The Union Booster Club will also meet this same night at 6:00 p.m. on campus in Colburn.
 
Bulldog Madness will include a time to meet the men's and women's basketball teams and a 10 minute scrimmage for both teams. It will also feature numerous games and activities throughout the night including a half-court shot by one student for the chance to win spring tuition, Minute-To-Win-It games, and faculty/staff vs. student's 10 scrimmage game.
 
The first games of the year will be exhibition games November 8 as a part of Union's Homecoming 2014. The men will officially open their season on the road, November 14-15 at the Shorter Classic versus LeMoyne Owen and Spring Hill (Ala.). The men's first home official home game is November 19 at 7 p.m. versus Rust (Miss.). The women will officially open their season at home, November 18 versus Rust at 6:00 p.m.
