Reading Breaker was a simply mind-blowing experience.

Every word felt like it had been placed on the page with care, with purpose...and with a dash of magic. Each sentence was another perfectly crafted puzzle piece that slid into its proper place to create the full picture.

This whole series, since its stunning beginning in Whirl, has been building towards that full picture, that final image. Bit by bit Emma Raveling has revealed Kendra's destiny to us readers throughout the series, & Breaker is where everything falls beautifully into place.

'She gave her choice to speak for all, so others would have the choice for themselves. She is sondaleur.'

There was no 'ifs', 'buts', or 'whys' about it in Breaker - if anyone had ever doubted that Raveling's heroine Kendra was indeed the sondaleur, they received all the proof they needed in this book.

Kendra's character blossoms. There is so much character growth, as Raveling reveals Kendra layer by layer. All her insecurities, doubts, & flaws are laid bare and Kendra is forced to come to terms with who she is, who she is meant to be, and who she wishes to be.

'Turn around, my love.'

Tristan becomes the man of my dreams...of every girl's dreams!...in Breaker. Not that he wasn't already the epitome of hotness & charisma, but he really shines in this book. Breaker provides Tristan with new opportunities to prove his love for Kendra, as it's tested time and time again.

I love how the Ondine Quartet portrays love. It's not the wishy-washy stereotype so often seen in YA fiction. It's complex, twisted and untameable. It's a choice. And for Kendra it is a daily battle to make the choice to love and allow herself to be loved in return.

Tristan and Kendra compliment each other so well, and it's been such a joy to watch their relationship mature throughout the series.

As powerful & beautiful as the ocean itself, Breaker brings YA to another level.

Although it saddens me that this amazing series has reached its close, I can honestly say that Breaker was a fitting end to what has been a magical journey.

Endings are rarely easy, especially the ending of a beloved series. As readers, when we reach the ending of a series we love, we go through all the emotions: excitement, anticipation, fear, love, denial, more love, and eventually acceptance. The Ondine Quartet has been such a big part of my life for four years and I am immensely sad to see it end, but dude, what an epic way to end! This wonderful book has gloriously killed me with ALL the feels!

In Breaker, author Emma Raveling brings it and she brings it hard! Thrills, twists, startling revelations, heartbreak, romance, pain, sexy-times, gut wrenching grief, humor, simply beautiful words...Breaker has all this and more. This fourth and final book in the Ondine Quartet does not go out quietly, but ends with a bang, a boom, fireworks, and a thousand trumpets. This book resonates loudly, it sinks bone-deep; I can still feel its gorgeous echoes in my heart. I’ve said it before, but I’ll said again: Emma is a spectacular storyteller who spins endlessly enthralling tales and never disappoints me...Breaker is no exception.

From page one, Breaker delivers the heart-punches; the action; the gasp-worthy revelations and keeps them coming until the very end. Emma brings her captivating world full circle and gives the places we’ve come to love in the Ondine Quartet a proper farewell, while taking readers to places they never imagined going. Throughout four novels and several novellas, Emma has threaded different characters, storylines, and events into the pages and I love that, in Breaker, all these threads come together to weave a breathtaking tapestry that tells a complex, smartly planned, and expertly navigated story.

I’ve always loved how character driven this series is and, throughout the novels and novellas, have fallen very much in love with so many of the characters. Kendra, Tristan, Julian, Jeeves, Aubrey, Ian, Nexa, and everyone else, have all come to mean so much to me and I’ll admit that I was absolutely terrified to learn their fates...as I should have been! I think I spent at least half of Breaker in tears, equally wanting to hug and smack characters. But be rest assured, the fates of these characters may not end up being what you want or imagined, but in the end, they feel right.

Emma throws some wicked curve balls at readers in Breaker that had me all “No friggin way!” and ‘Oh, she did not just do that!” and especially “Fuuuuck!”. Breaker’s ending really surprised me and is nothing I ever imagined it would be, it isn’t an easy ending or a sugary-sunshiney one, but it is exactly everything it needs to be. And, as heartbroken as I am to say goodbye to this world and its characters, I can honestly say, I approve of the ending 100%.

My Final Thoughts: Breaker is everything I hoped and needed it to be. Emma Raveling has written the stunning, fierce, and surprising conclusion that both readers and her characters deserve. I cannot thank her enough for giving this magical series to the world!!

Breaker (Ondine Quartet, #4) by Emma Raveling

She fought for herself.
She fought for friendship and love.
Now, Kendra Irisavie fights for the survival of
her world.

I received an ARC of this book, Thank you!, which releases Jan 28th!

I'm not even sure where to begin. I feel I have waited so long to see how this series ends that I can't accept that it has now indeed come to an end. Breaker is one of those books where you will need tissues and chocolates close by because you will feel every emotion imaginable.

Breaker starts off right where Crest ended and I loved that because we've spent the whole series wondering just who The Shadow is and I was curious if we would have to keep wondering throughout Breaker. Nope. You find out very early in the book. Yay! Oh, and he is as evil and douchey as you imagined!
All of the characters have changed/grown so much throughout the series and I'm surprised just how attached I was to them! Emma, you really broke my heart. ( you know what I'm talking about!) why? Just why? *sniffles* See what I mean about needing those chocolates and tissues?
The romance definitely does not take the main stage in this one but that's okay because I wanted to see how this war ended just as bad as everyone in the book! Plus, I think I cherished the moments with Tristan just as much as Kendra did ;)
So, in hopes of not making this review too long, Breaker is a great read! Emma's Ondine Quartet series is an adventure that you don't want to miss out on. Give it a try and I believe you won't regret it. There's action, romance, mystery, suspense, grief, humor, magic,EVERYTHING! Read this series now. It's one that you will read over and over again.

My favorite Touching moment:

There are no words, really, to describe how this book made me feel but I'll do my best to articulate them. Let's see how coherent I can be, shall we?

You all know that I love Emma's characters. Kendra, our protagonist, is headstrong, stubborn, compassionate, and loyal to a fault. She is being pulled in many directions at the moment, torn between being a warrior and being the leader to her people. With her are her friends, Chloe, Aubrey, Cam, Ian, Helene, and more, who are all developed and unique and wonderful in their own right. And then there's Tristan (UGH) who is far from perfect and yet very close to perfection at the same time. Calculating and deadly with a heart of gold, he supports Kendra with all the hard choices she must make while allowing her to make her own mistakes (what. a. man.). I my love has only grown for all of these wonderfully deep and flawed characters in the Ondine Quartet.

Likewise, the world that Emma has created is imaginative and deep. I've heard many compare this series to Vampire Academy (an old favorite of mine from back in the day) series by Richelle Mead and I agree that the outlines of the academy and setting are similar. However, for me, the lore that Emma has created and the tensions between the many facets of the supernatural world are even more interesting. Her world is less predictable, darker, and I love that I have to think, and think a lot, while reading this series to connect the dots with stories from the past with the events happening in the present.

The thing that struck me the most about Breaker (and the thing that makes me so extremely proud of this author that I have never even met) is that Emma did not hold back. Like, at all. Breaker is the story of a world at war and a young woman who has the fate of her people on her shoulders and Emma does not gloss over the sacrifices and losses that come from an all out, no holds barred battle between two powerful forces. Many characters - big characters, small characters, meaningful characters - die or get hurt in this finale. I may or may not have cried quite a few times while reading but in the end, I loved how Emma depicted the sacrifice and the heartbreak that comes with the kind of conflict she created. There is pain and love and despair and hope and I ended the novel by just being grateful that I got to read something that the author so obviously labored over and loved.

I'm sad that this is the end of the series but I don't think that I could ever really get enough of Kendra and Tristan *swoon* and the rest of the gang, and I'm sure Emma would like to work on her other project so I'll just have to live *ugly cries*

Don't let the tears deter you! I absolutely love these books and highly recommend you check it out!

I honestly don’t know what to write because I have a whole mess of emotions going on right now but one thing I know for sure is that this book was epic!

Through each book I felt that Kendra had to find something in herself, some lesson that she needed to learn to grow and become who she needed to be but non-more so here. What she must go through here would break anyone, but Kendra has always been special and she faces her ultimate challenge in Breaker - because it’s time to unravel herself. Clarity makes her realise that her harsh upbringing served a purpose, that she must put trust in those who trust her, allow herself to feel love and understand that sometimes… a sacrifice needs to be made for the greater good. She has been a remarkable character, the epitome of strength, loyalty, power and determination, someone who can be the deadliest person but also the most vulnerable, someone afraid to love for fear of that love being a weakness or simply because trouble follows her and those closest to her inevitably end up hurt – she was trained to be a weapon, the hope of a community and now she must face her fears and become the Sondaleur.
My heart literally broke for her throughout this, I don’t want to say too much but if you thought she had it bad in previous books – that is nothing to what she must face now. Her world is so filled with duty and death that it’s easy to forget that she is just an 18 yr old girl who only found out about her true heritage a year ago and in that year she has had to master her power, her skills, learn of their history and the prophecy. I was so grateful for the people in her life but for Tristan most of all, she needed him so much, she needed his love and his unfaltering belief in her, he offset the violent world they lived in and loved her for her and not who she was prophesised to be.
The story was split into three parts; War – The Shadow leaves devastation in his wake, no one is safe and fear runs rampant as communities are decimated leaving most everyone hopeless. Everyone looks to Kendra but she is torn between duties, she doesn’t know how to beat ‘The Shadow’ and although they are sometimes one step ahead, they never gain the advantage and the losses are huge. Prophecy is the second part and here we see Kendra make some decisions and sacrifices so that she can be true to herself and accept her part in the prophecy. The Shadow taunts her with riddles and battles and there’s no stopping the inevitable showdown that is to come in the third and final part; Freedom. Freedom sees all of the players placed, the lull before the storm, it’s like a goodbye in itself. Preparations are made, loose ends tied up and now Kendra is ready, she will be the Sonaleur – but at what cost?
Action, devastation and heartbreak riddled the story from beginning to end but hope, faith and love offset the tragedy that Kendra and those she chose as her family had to deal with, it was simply breath-taking and I spent most of the book in some form of anxious state hoping that Kendra would make it – that they ALL would make it – because this series has spanned 4 yrs and every single one of the characters mattered to me. The story started with a huge reveal and those answers kept on coming right along with the action, it truly felt like a chess game between Kendra and the Shadow and I had no clue how she could prevail. It all leads to a final showdown that will leave you stunned but satisfied after going through a rollercoaster of emotions.
I have loved every second of every book in this series, the characters, the world, the diverse population that in habited Haverleau, the action, the story, the magic, the prophecy…. And of course the romance. I will never forget this series or its characters and I thank the author for sharing her beautiful writing and storytelling skills that captivated me from the start. I’m so sad to be at the end….but what a way to go!

From the moment I picked up Whirl I fell in love with Raveling's writing style, her exceptional ability to not only create a world that completely immerses you but also characters that have managed to imprint themselves both on my mind and in my heart.

With each new book in the series I continue to be surprised by Raveling's ability to surpass the high standards set by the book before it. This truly was an epic conclusion to a captivating and thrilling series. I have laughed, cried, cheered, raged, mourned and loved but I have enjoyed every step of the journey even if there were times I seriously doubted my heart would heal from what it was being put through. No punches were held in this epic finale, my emotions were constantly pushed to their limits and I found myself racing forward torn between a need to know what would happen next but terrified of how it would all end.

To say Raveling stepped it up a notch would be a gross understatement. She absolutely annihilated any precedents set by the previous books and produced something so incredibly enthralling and emotional that there were very few pages of this book that remain untouched by my tears. There was so much pain, darkness and angst. My heart absolutely shattered and I commend Raveling for her brave story line.

There were moments in this book I was seriously beginning to wonder if I too had developed Empath powers because sometimes it just felt like too much was being thrust at me. This book wasn't light and fluffy with a bit of action on the side. It was packed with action, twists, pain and sorrow. Lies are revealed, friendships are tested, trust is broken, relationships are destroyed, fears are faced and sacrifices are made. But amidst all this light still manages to shine through. Kendra Irasavie remains determined and focused on her destiny no matter what the cost. When the prophecy is revealed in its entirety it becomes apparent Kendra is the key to ending the war, but will the war also end Kendra?.

I absolutely loved this series, but most of all I love the amazing ensemble cast. It is an incredible gift for an author to create characters that we truly love but to be able to create a cast this size, that I genuinely cared about each and everyone of them was just exceptional.

I really loved Kendra and Tristan. Whilst their relationship has never been the main focal point of this story it has still be a pivotal part of it and all I wanted the whole way through was for them to get their happy ending. The barriers that were continually thrown in their path broke my heart.

Not since I finished The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare have I sobbed this hard and this long at the end of a series and I am so sad it has finished. If you have not yet read this wonderful series I would recommend doing so immediately!.

Emma Raveling spellbound me in this finale to the Ondine Quartet. Filled with passion, duty, heartbreak, friendship and the beauty of what it means to live, I will forever cling to this book, and this series, as my all time favorite! Ms. Raveling’s writing is like experiencing a great piece of classical music, the highlightable passages—endless.

“Maybe the paths we embarked upon were as unpredictable and startling as spring.”

“Time was the greatest immortal of all. It stretched infinitely into the horizon, uncontrollable, and serving no master.”

“Sometimes we think we’re losing something when we’re really finding something else.”

I was swept away in the movements, the descriptions, the poetic breaks and the character’s absolutely came alive. I was at the edge of my couch, gripping the book in a silent plea to not break my heart, because I must forewarn, the journey is, like the title of the book, tumultuous. But as our dearest Ms. Raveling said to her readers who voiced their fears along the way, “trust Kendra.” And trust her I did, and that trust was not in vain. Kendra kept me going when I wasn’t sure I was strong enough to turn the next page, but I am forever grateful that I did.

So if you want a series that will take you away and paint you a world with such colors you’ll forget to stop and nourish yourself with food, this one is it! 5-Stars hands down!

This book was the perfect end to a perfect series. We see Breaker lead us into a more darker and confusing world that Kendra has found herself in, as she works to find a way to defeat the Shadow. We get hauntingly beautiful moments, fierce action and determination, as well as heartbreaking loss...
It was so fantastically written that it kept you drawn to the story throughout, you could feel the tension plaguing society and it's main characters. It really put you into a turmoil of emotion.
For Kendra, her journey to the end was by no means a smooth ride. Her power increases so much so that it creates friction in every single relationship she has, to make matters worse she is repeatedly taunted by the Shadow throughout, rendering her helpless and confused. Our heroine is very lost throughout.
One thing that really shines through in this book is Kendra's convictions, she possesses such heroic qualities; she's a fighter, fiercely caring, loyal, smart, passionate, and most of all determined.
We delve into her past and see Kendra come to terms with certain truths that become revealed in this book.
I have to say my favorite parts of the book were when her and her friends were in the grandview hotel, and also the day of the final battle. The last 100 pages of the book for me, were just mind-blowing, I felt every single emotion that Kendra was feeling.
This book really puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions, it just had so much depth.
I would give this book my highest rating and would recommend the series to everyone. You will definitely not be disappointed, particularly with this book. I must warn you that there may be tears as not every one will make it through. :(

Finally the anticipation is rewarded, I was one of the lucky people that where handed a ARC.

There is no better feeling that getting ones hands on a a book you have been so passionately waiting for. And I consequently just blanked the world for the next 4 days as I inhaled it. My poor children have been left to daddies devices.

Phew, what a ride that was. I am still reeling from the pace that was set in this incredible finale.

Breaker picks up where we left off and within the first 5% we are faced with some major revelations that we have been speculating on since this wonderful series began.

Not only that, but not much further along and I got swept into an enormous emotional rollercoaster that did not stop until the very end.

However, do not be mistaken, whilst this book has all kinds of heartwring (and a whole lotta ugly crying on my side), it also has a lot of strength and love and of course some kickass action from Kendra and her crew.

Kendra finally faces what she has too and I think Emma has done so on all fronts very cleverly! I loved that we got to delve into some of the other characters a little deeper as well.

I think now that ive had a little to digest this and re-read the ending one more time (yes, I needed to really make my mind believe this was indeed the end of it all) I have finally given it a place.

It is amazing, it is action, it is carnage, it is passion, sadness, heartache.. but then again, what did we expect? Emma has an incredible talent for putting those into words.

If there is any criticism, I would have loved to read more about kendra and Tristan in the aftermath. Dont be disappointed, you do get a bone thrown but hey what can I say Im a hopeless sucker for a HEA.

All in all, I will put this series in my book case, and I will treasure it until my girls(and boy) are old enough and can read it too.

I have highlighted a few sections as I was reading that I really want to share with you all, and also added the snippets shared by Emma pre release.

It's been put under spoiler protect though, just in case ;) Enjoy!

I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this end to a beautiful series. Right from the begin it hooks you in and takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions! This book sucked me back into the Ondine world and it was wonderful. The characters I've come to love like old friends received a perfect ending. I didn't know how Emma was going to do it but she did and I know this will be one of those book series that I will read again and again!

I can't wait for this book to come out. I have to know who the shadow is this cliffhanger is killing me more than the cliffhanger for Fallen Crest Public. The only difference is the cliffhanger here is for a murder set on killing others.

I just knew you were going to go and breaker my heart, Emma Raveling! And you did. You chipped little, and big pieces away throughout this book….nay…..this whole series. Breaker was everything I had wanted it to be, and a bunch of other things I didn’t know I wanted, or needed. It was the perfect combination of somberness and hopefulness. There wasn’t a single second of this that I would change, even the parts that broke me. They all added up to something so incredible.

I felt like we experienced everything right along with Kendra. I felt every twinge of regret, hurt, betrayal, and loss. But I also felt the pride, hope, and ultimately love too. This was an emotional journey through the past, present, and a glimmer of hope for a better future. It wasn’t just Kendra who shinned though. Every character we have come to know and care for was a star. Tristan, Julian, Nexa, Chloe, Alex, Cam, Aubrey, Ian, Ray, Jeeves, and so many more, they were the truly magical parts of this story. They are what had me emotionally invested in the story. I cared for each of them in so many different ways. It was so sad saying goodbye to them!

It also must be said just how gorgeous the writing in this book was. It was poetic. It was word magic. I felt how grand it was going to be in the freaking prologue! It really set the tone for the entire book. I loved how everything connected at the end. I enjoyed guessing repeatedly at how everything was going to turn out, or different plot twists, and always ending up surprised! Especially when the answers were really there all along. I was also thankful for the few undercurrents of humor, and the small moments, the underscored wins in comparison to the larger battle going on.

So thank you, Emma Raveling. Thank you for creating this incredible, unique world, full of magic, possibilities, and some of my favorite characters. Thank you for always keeping us readers on our toes, with your plot twists and revelations. And thanks for always being brave and ripping our hearts out, dragging them through the mud, and then magically putting them back together again. One of Daniel’s magical scans would surely show all the old injuries and magical residue around my savaged heart! But it was the price I paid for a perfect ending to a fantastic series!

I'm pretty sure I have a book hangover.... I just can't right now! Emma.... you have ripped my insides out and stomped all over them!

10 out of 5

Yes it was that good!

I know for a fact every time that I start a book by Emma Raveling that I’m about to be put through an emotional high speed blender. I have yet to meet an author like Emma that has no problem offing central characters, characters that you have grown to love, admire, and hope for the best. Breaker was no exception to this. It seemed like every few pages, my heart was breaking and Emma was laughing and stomping on the tattered remains of my emotions. I really do love you Emma!!

One of the greatest things about this series, is that I had no clue who the Shadow was. It’s possible that there was some foreshadowing and I never saw it, I will be re-reading this series again and soon. I think the shock of it was the simple fact that the Shadow had been in every aspect of Kendra’s life. The eyes remained the same. I’m just glad it isn’t who I thought it was going to be, I might have actually cried at that!

Breaker was everything that I wanted it to be and more. I can’t gush enough about this book, and it’s killing me that I can’t really say what I want to say! I’m really not one to give out spoilers, especially since this is the last book. But boy do I want to!

I want to spill all the secrets!

Saying goodbye to a favorite series is extremely hard to do. I am never ready for it, and it always takes me by surprise when I have to say goodbye. I felt like I was saying goodbye throughout the whole book, and I really was. I was saying goodbye 6% in and goodbye 96% in, like I said… EMOTIONAL! And Emma, be glad you didn’t do anything to that person by the summoning pool, I would have quit this book just as fast as I quit Marley & Me! There would have been tears and snot… so not playing lol!

I hate goodbyes, I hate knowing that there will never be another book about Kendra and Tristan again.

I’m not ready for this to be the end.

So please let me rock in my corner with my extremely large book hangover and just let me cry. I wasn’t ready, I lied when I said I was!

Goodbye Kendra and Tristan, we will meet again on the next re-read!

Not every question deserves to be answered.

When it comes to endings, we often expect a lot. After sailing in this quite amazing journey, it is only normal that we develop a deep attachment to the characters. Some we love, some we hate. We root for them, we care for them. We share their victories, their failures. We share their happiness and their sorrow. So it is only logical that we wish to know, deserve to know what happens to the characters we cared for for so long.

Raveling didn't gave us a clean closure, she left many indentures and knots tangled behind. And I liked that. There was an opening for more, for hope, for a future, for continuation. There was place for more, and maybe that's exactly what we need to know, that life goes on no matter what.

I feel conflicted about Breaker. It was messy. It confused me, frustrated me, and sometimes, sometimes I just didn't understand what was going on. I felt that some parts were over-complicated for no solid reason but to create useless drama. I understood that Raveling wanted to underline the complexity of the situation. It is a war, people are scared, people are being irrational, people are acting out of fear and despair and selfishness. And most of the time I just wanted to run around and shake people to knock some sense into them. This is exactly how Kendra is feeling throughout a good part of the book. And it's maddeningly infuriating. But it's deliciously good.
And yes, it's worth it.

And Raveling, thank you. Thank you so much for Tristan. I really, really appreciate it.

Ohhhh, I don't know what to think about this book. The Ondine Quartet has been one of my favourite series and I'm not sure that this was the ending that I wanted. It was dark. VERY dark and there was so much negative and hate and fear and pain and too few successes for Kendra and it made it a little hard to get through. I mean, I do understand that she was leading a war, but all the negative kind of got to me and I found myself wanting to skip ahead just so that I didn't have to read any more.
The ending itself I wasn't a huge fan of either. There were SO many ends left untied. Alex? Dax? Nathanial? There were way too many people that I didn't know how they ended up and it think it's a shame because the books were so well written that you cared about the characters and then to not even know if they lived makes it a little frustrating. There were also characters that I worried about emotionally: Cam, Julian, Jeeves, Aubrey and we never really got much information on them either.
I probably would have given it 3 stars but I bumped it up to 4 just because of how much I loved the previous books in the series.
I think I need another novella. Like a '5 years later' kind of thing to really make me ready to leave this world and these characters. Just so that I can know that my favorite characters are doing okay.

Emma? What do you say? :)

I absolutely loved the Ondine Quartet series. It had to take a great imagination to create such a world. Emma definitely succeeds in this. I loved the main character Kendra. She gives Alex in the covenant series a run for her money. But she is a total bad ass and she does what she has to do to protect the ones she loves. I personally loved she had the position as governor and was bummed when she gave it us... but anyways Kendra is the sondaleur and is definitely the person for the job. Lets talk about our favorite and one and only selkie/warrior prince. I love Tristan. He is the def the swoon worth type. He is strong and brave and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Kendra safe. I feel like they both needed each other. They both went through trials but came out on top of it all. My heart goes out for Julian. He is a sweet heart. There were times in the book I really wanted him and Kendra to be together but I know that Tristan is the one for her. This whole series is phenomenal. Im sorry if i seem to be all over the place with this review but its just so much that I loved and would like to touch on. But i'll keep this as short as I can.. With the selkies, ondines, chevalier, gardinels, and the sondaleur a magical world was created. I highly recommend!!!

The book is fantastic. It really is; this whole series is simply amazing. The plot is captivating and the characters are incredibly well developed. I loved almost every aspect of the series...almost. The end was really cute and I liked the overall idea. I just always saw the romance as a big part of this series, but Kendra's actions after the big battle was a bit iffy to me. For so long, she selfishly hid and let Tristan suffer in solitude. That was not okay with me; he seemed to be at the back of her mind. Also, the romance generally took a backseat in this series. I expected more Tristan/Kendra moments, more mush, more heat, whatever, just MORE. But, it was sadly lacking of that. It was replaced by action and other drama, which wasn't bad. When Kendra, Julian, and Cam went to rescue Ian, that part of the book was intense. Not in a bad way, I just was NOT expecting that. It came out of nowhere, but it added depth and truly took the book to a whole new level. The only part that bugged me was the infrequency of Tristan/Kendra moments.
Besides that, this series is a complete work of art.

I got the privilege of receiving an ARC of Breaker that releases on January 28. I can tell you that it is one long, amazing thrill ride, filled with trials and tribulations, and all you have is your friends. When they let you down, it's an even harder struggle, when they were always part of your backbone before.

Emma has done a fabulous job on Breaker, I thought I had everything figured out coming into the story and she completely threw me for a loop. (Not in a bad way) Just hold on to your seats and expect to be taken for a ride, because what you thought you known or guessed, is probably going to be way out in left field. It definitely was for me.

I can't believe that it was only a year ago I stumbled upon Whirl. Emma Raveling has quickly rose to be one of my favorite authors. Breaker is absolutely everything that I wanted it to be. Honest, heartbreaking, funny, inspiring, and so many other adjectives that I simply can't put down in this review.

I loved this series, and have recommended it to everyone I know. Now, with a heavy hear, I have to say goodbye to this world, and wait in eager anticipation for the next book that Emma releases.

Wow. WOW. WOOOOOW!!!!! Ive spent the majority of my Sunday glued to this book and Im just Spellbound.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review but there words have left me. I have no words. Emma Ravling is an INCREDIBLE writer and all I can say is this final installment went above and beyond all expectations. My only regret is the end of an AMAZING series. LOVED IT!
