Queen of style: Victoria Beckham is mocked up as iconic monarch in fashion royalty magazine special

She is known as fashion royalty and on Tuesday Victoria Beckham was even mocked up as an iconic monarch to celebrate her role as an icon.

The former Spice Girls star was transformed into Queen Victoria to celebrate the upcoming relaunch of the Sunday Times' Style magazine this weekend, as well as the fact that she features on the publication's Top 50 Best Dressed List.

In the shot, Victoria is seen with greying hair, while wearing the white veil, silver crown and blue dress famously sported by the former Queen.

It's not the first time that Victoria has been called the queen of fashion, however, as her extensive wardrobe and impeccable sense of style see her feature in and top best dressed lists every month.

Other stars to feature in Style's Fashion Royalty campaign include Kate Moss as Queen Elizabeth.

The 39-year-old supermodel has the same white hair, which coat and glittering tiara as Britain's current monarch wore for artist Chris Levine's 2007 portrait.
