Valley Nail Care and Spa

I went on a Saturday afternoon, and there was NO wait. Manicure/pedicure with French tips on my hands, designs (with a rhinestone) on my big toes and thumbs - all for under $40. If I ever have a little extra money I'll be heading there, and will go for the deluxe pedi if I can afford it. Freestyle designs on my nails, very pretty. Large selection of nail polish, powder/glitter/flake colors and options.

I have never been more impressed and taken care of as well as I have been here. I came from San Francisco on a recommended note from a friend who spoke very highly of the nail artists. Not only did they tend to me within 30 minutes, which is expected time in a busy salon but were also very accommodating. It's always nice to come back to relax and be taken care of.

When I say I 'rarely' get my nails done, I mean that. For the most part, my nails are short, polish free and clean. Just my preference. But when it comes time for a special event, there is always one person that I will always go back to because she has taken good care of me in the past. I am happy to share her here-- Nancy.

I had never gotten Acrylic nails before and I was game to try because the occasion demanded for nails. Since it was my first time doing this (in the past I've only ever gotten Shellac), this was a completely different experience in that it took a lot of time. I was sitting there for a good 2+ hours getting both the pedicure and the Acrylic nails afterwards. And given that during the manicure part you can't have your phone on you-- you're pretty much forced to watch whatever it is they have on screen (luckily it was something that I enjoyed watching.)

What I like about this place is conversation is kept to a minimum. The Nail techs talk amongst themselves but it's not a lot or enough to make you feel uncomfortable since they're all talking in Vietnamese. Nancy isn't the best at English but her work speaks for itself.

When I was being indecisive about what to do with my nails, she said she would take care of it and give me something that would be classic and natural looking-- right up my alley.

The end result was beautiful. I loved that she didn't keep them super long so that they felt like claws. They looked natural enough with a beautiful sheen that glowed all the time under any kind of lights. For the 3 weeks that I had these nails on, I couldn't stop staring at them. I would even find myself tapping my nails on my table and countertops because the sound amused me. Alas, I had to take them off.

I just couldn't get the hang of typing in them, much less texting.

I got my nails done with Kim and she did an amazing job! Im new to the fake nail world - so I wasn't sure on the process or what was best to do. And Kim was very helpful in explaining everything and making the best suggestions.

I went with a fake tip and Kim made sure the length wasn't too long since I will be having my baby soon and need functional nails lol. So she made sure I was happy with the length after each filing. Super happy with the way my nails came out and will definitely be back :)

My family and I have been coming here for years. All the the ladies at Valley Nail Care are awesome and very friendly. They do such a great work on our nails! Highly recommended!

My go to nail spot in SJ! I've been going here for 4-5 years already. Jenny has always meet beyond the expectation.

I like going here because it's quiet and not as busy as other nail shop. They also take their time doing your nails and it lasted longer than other places I've gone to. I had my gel mani done and it lasted me 1 month +. No peeling or cracking and I wash dishes everyday.

Worst experience at a nail salon so far. The lady doing my nails was rude; was talking to everyone but me, and was not polite. No care for cuticles, acrylic on skin, and there's a hair on my nail. Not only that but the french tip is horrible, so thick and chunky. It was not even close to the picture i showed her for inspiration.

I came in for an acrylic full set and it was done alright, but not with as much care as I'd like. One tech applied my nail tips and another one did the acrylic itself. I had to move tables twice and they did not change the towel laid out on the table from another client before I sat down. This is a problem. They also do not clean their nail bits and they all looked visibly clogged with debris.

There is NO cuticle care and acrylic was flooding my cuticles. Some of it flaked off today, literally a couple days after my appointment, and there is now lifting. No cuticle nippers. They didn't even bother to push my cuticles back. The tech who did my acrylic did NOT WASH HER HANDS after she helped her previous client and immediately started helping me.

I been going here for years and this is one of my most favorite nail salon. I was happy I was able to come and get a pedicure done even though I didn't have an appointment. I called and ask if I can come in 20 minutes and the answer was yes. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. My toes came out really cute and I can't wait to show off my toes.

Rude owner. Never take accountability and has bad attitude. I come here for Linh only because she's good but owners attitude is a no. Never return. Smh. I called and was coming all the way from Walnut Creek said I'll be there in 45. I walked in and she said, she told me 10 mins and she repeated herself? No, you didn't. When I clearly said I'll be there in 45 mins. Always making excuses and poor rude attitude.
