Mrs. Armijo

Hi!! My name is Melody Armijo and I will be your 9th Grade World Geography teacher. When I'm not at DHJ, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter, Miguel and Maya. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, and drinking lots of coffee.

This is my 7th year at Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School. I have taught AP Human Geography, World History (AP & Pre-AP), and US History (AP, Pre-AP, & OnRamps). I have also coached the JV Softball Team (2018-2019), Powerlifting (2018-Present), UIL Social Studies and Current Events (2016-Present), and Drill Team (2019-Present).
