Urban Foraging with Black Creek Community Farm's Urban Harvest and Farm Park Team
As the summer ends, apple and pear harvesting begins! Join the Urban Harvest and Farm Park team, pick some fruit and learn what you can do with it.
Our event:
- Education: about Urban Harvest & Farm Park /Tour of the farm/food forest
- Apple harvesting activity (including orientation on safety re:harvesting and social distancing)
- Wrap up: giving out tips and recipes

- Open to the public, *priority for Jane and Finch residents or residents in the Black Creek Neighborhood*
- Pay what you can *cash only* (sliding scale: $0 - $20)
- 2 cohorts of 10-12 people
- you can register your family of up to three people
- we will be providing proper PPE including gloves and masks; please try to bring your own
- bring your own water bottle and snacks
- wear hats and long pants as we will be moving around grass or bushes, and closed shoes
- TTC tickets provided if needed
