Participants will meet in Ennis Hall Computer Lab (Room 020) and begin with a book discussion. We will then view everyone’s favorite few images and discuss your motivations for making the photographs as they relate to Silver Sparrow. Participants will learn basic photo editing techniques in Photoshop and have the opportunity to display their best photograph within an online gallery.

Digital photographs inspired by the themes, symbols, and imagery presented in Silver Sparrow. The photographs may be literal or abstract in content. For example, the book may inspire you to make photographs depicting relationships between people, southern landscapes, objects mentioned in the book, or colors you imagine when reading the book.

The digital files should be on a memory card or a USB jumpdrive. If the photographs were made on your phone, bring the cable necessary to transfer the images to a computer.
