    0.06: Interview with Winnie Holzman

Winnie Holzman!!!!!! Do we even need to say more?!?! In a (very very) special bonus episode, Joanna had the chance to talk to show creator Winnie Holzman about My So-Called Life, 25 years after it changed our lives forever. They discuss how the idea for the show came about, how Winnie so perfectly harnessed the inner monologue of Angela (and most of us...), the power of owning your sexuality and desire as a woman and a teenage girl, and so much more. They even both CRY AT THE END. *sob*

Ahhhhhh, the amazing Vanessa Bayer is here to tell us all about her love for My So-Called Life, her stories about meeting Claire Danes, Jared Leto, and Wilson Cruz, her devastating career loss of the part of Wendy in the 7th grade production of Peter Pan, and her feelings on the musical stylings of 90210's Ray Pruit. WOW. Thank you Vanessa, for these gifts.

    1.16: Resolutions

It is 1995... and no one told Jordan! As we enter into a brand new year we get an *incredible* gym scene between Rayanne and Sharon, a tutoring match up for the ages with the infamous Brain Krakow, and a stuffed bear making the rounds at Liberty High. On a more serious note, Rickie seeks support and safety after being left behind by his family, and finds some of it in Mr. Katimsky. We also have a heaping serving of Brad Pitt?? It's Episode 16: Resolutions!

Unbelievably Good

Like buffering I don’t see what Kristin sees but she makes me laugh. Joanna is almost always spot on. Either way. I’ve loved this show since it aired and watched it multiple times over the years. Listening to this podcast was kind of therapeutic. I’d highly recommend.

Too scattered/off topic

I was excited to listen to this but the hosts are kind of all over the place, like they don’t walk through the episode in a linear way, they talk about different parts of it and skip over a lot of stuff, they don’t play many clips from the show and they go off topic too much talking about their personal experiences. Also, the regular Buffy references are annoying bc I’ve never seen the show and don’t care about it. I much prefer the other podcast about this show but I’ll prob keep listening to see if it gets better.

I am forever in the dept of Kristen and Joanna for creating such great content that I decided to watch this show for the first time. Who knew it was so amazing?!?!? Love you, both! Thanks!
