2022 CCEI Summer Fellowship Cohort:

365 Bloom: Our smart real time plant monitoring device helps users provide a better environment for their houseplants by tracking statistics indicative of plant health via a mobile application.

Aerius Water: Using innovative liquid desiccant technology, Aerius Water sustainably captures freshwater from the natural air cycle, even in low humidity environments, offering a solution to water-stressed countries.

Appoint: Software that removes the burdens of overly complicated nursing clinical schedules and the stress of creating them.

Genesist: An RNA based reagent that can make the healthy tissue surrounding a tumor in patients' body more resistive against breast cancer metastasis.

Lactation Innovations: Our product, the Manula Milk Monitor, provides critical insights of how much breastmilk an infant has ingested, helping to prevent dehydration and hyperbilirubinemia in the infant, while increasing the mother's confidence in breastfeeding.

Luma Hydration: Building comprehensive water filtration that's portable and sustainable.

RiboDynamics: Our enterprise aims to develop technology for the detection of pathogens in biological material based on the presence of specific RNA biomarkers. Having demonstrated the ability to detect salmonella, listeria, and E. coli in milk, as well as Zika virus in mosquitoes, we are now testing applications in human diagnostics of infectious diseases/conditions, such as sepsis, HIV-1, Hepatitis C, and Covid-19.

ShadeSnap: Giving prescription glasses the ability to tint and un-tint on demand.

SmartCards AR: An augmented reality learning platform that connects hands-on, experiential learning with modern technology to enhance the learning process in customizable education for students and educators.

Tick Me Off: Producing a Lyme Disease Prevention Kit containing both a test strip to determine if a tick is infected with a pathogen (one of five tick-borne disease agents), and a therapeutic micro-needle bandage to kill the infectious agent in the dermal tissue, preventing dissemination and disease.
