“Creating Connections: Designing Our Future” is a silent Event/Service/Vacation Home Auction.
First Unitarian is fortunate to own a whole city block and an important question moving forward will be "what is the best use of our block that is in keeping with our mission"? So, this year the money raised will fund a preliminary assessment of the state of our Church buildings, including what it would take to make our Sanctuary earthquake-safe, as well as a larger exploration of future possibilities for the use of our Church campus. The results of this assessment will help determine what updates could serve the larger community, like low-income housing, and allow the Church to make the most informed decision possible about future development.
Auction Dates: May 3, 10 and 17 in Buchan Reception Hall following both services.
Donation Deadline: APRIL 6, 2020 by 5 p.m., but early submissions are greatly encouraged!
