5/31/2023 - oropeza Likes this wine: NRBright cherry up front, then into a somewhat gravelly core before finishing medium-long and bright on good acidity. Delicious, and, if middle age for a Pinot is defined by starting to lose its place-specific characteristics and find balance amongst its elements, then this is there. Tasted next to the single vineyard Starscape from the same vintage, this is the darker wine and doesn't either start as high or dive as deep in the core. They're both killer, but this is the A and the Starscape is the A+ right now for me. |
