Football Friday: Fifa World Cup 2010

I’m no soccer fan, as you well know. But surely the efficient result, from the perspective of maximizing global net happiness, is that Brazil win. They have the most fans and their fans care more about it than do others. Let’s hope the efficient result eventuates in this as in all other areas.

Come on chaps, don’t be like that. England will start to play as soon as Rooney gets his shooting boots on. I think the Spanish are hot favourites.
