DawBell News!

Paul McCartney’s ‘Hope For The Future’ is out on 180-gram 12” vinyl this week, Take That have unveiled the video for ‘Get Ready For It’ from Kingsman: The Secret Service, and ‘Into the Woods’ starring our very own James Corden is in cinemas now. This week is, of course, also all about ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ this Thursday where The BRIT Awards 2015 nominations will be unveiled. Elsewhere, there have been lots of new additions to the line up for The Isle of Wight Festival, there’s the video for Twin Atlantic's ‘Oceans’ and we look ahead to Charlie Simpson’s upcoming solo acoustic tour.

Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney’s song 'Hope For The Future', which was released digitally in December 2014, is now available physically on 180-gram 12” vinyl this week. The song was written by Paul for the record-breaking video game 'Destiny'. Produced by Giles Martin and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent, 'Hope For The Future' is as epic as the game itself which smashed records with its half-billion-dollar first day revenues. The song, which features a full orchestra, was recorded between Paul’s Hog Hill Mill studio in Sussex, Avatar Studios in New York, and Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios in London. Head over to www.paulmccartney.com for more information.

Take That
Take That have collaborated with Twentieth Century Fox for the release of highly anticipated new film 'Kingsman: The Secret Service’. From producer/director Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass and X-Men: First class), the film features lead song 'Get Ready For It', taken from the band's No.1 album 'III'. You can check out the epic new video for the song over on Take That's VEVO channel. Look out for the group at the world premiere tomorrow (Weds 14th) in London, where they will be walking the red carpet alongside the film’s stars including Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, Sophie Cookson and Sofia Boutella

James Corden
James’ new film 'Into The Woods' is in cinemas now. In the big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s musical, James plays the part of the baker alongside Emily Blunt as the baker’s wife. They have been cursed by a witch (Meryl Streep) and have to go Into The Woods to find a white cow, a golden slipper, a red cape and some yellow hair - all before the full moon in three days time, in order to reverse the witch’s curse in this fairy tale mash-up. The Telegraph gave it 4* saying “Corden and Blunt really thrive on this treacherous ground, nimbly picking their way through Sondheim’s tangled melodies and the mazy, mist-wreathed sets. It’s all vigorous fun, a wonderful, wintry entertainment, but its branches catch at your heart."
