Joel Dewberry has delivered yet again with Deer Valley, his dynamic new fabric line! As with his previous collections, Deer Valley conveys the essence of Joel’s “Eclectic Modern” design.
In Joel’s words, his distinctive style embodies “…modern designs that are reminiscent of earlier times yet embrace fresh and contemporary palettes of color and composition… Elegant lines, bold design motifs and indelible colors deliver a style that is sophisticated and memorable, and yet remains comfortable.” And, however you want to put it, this new fabric line gives you a wide variety of prints to stimulate your creativity!
A colorful free quilt pattern using Joel’s Deer Valley collection is available here — the pattern includes instructions for both a lap size quilt and a baby quilt.
This fabric line is also great for bags and accessories — the popular Antler Damask print would be striking as the main fabric for Amy Butler’s High Street Messenger Bag (below left) or her Betty Shopper Bag.
The smaller geometric prints would be fun as the fabric for Amy’s MP3 Case (and used as coordinating trim for the Laptop Cover, lower right).
