Katy Perry proves just how sexy she can be with smouldering magazine shoot
With her love of dressing up in wacky costumes, 'sexy' isn't the first word that comes to mind to describe Katy Perry.
But in these smouldering pictures for Esquire magazine, the singer shows she definitely has a sultry side.
In one black and white shot, she shows off her impressive curves in a figure-hugging outfit of basque and suspenders.

A sheer shawl is draped over her shoulders, and her shoulder-length hair tumbles down in soft waves.
Another shot sees the 24-year-old clad in a leopard print bodysuit.
Reclined against a wall, the I Kissed A Girl singer pouts sultrily at the camera.

Eccentric Katy doesn't always look so sexy. She once donned an egg costume
The photo shoot is quite a departure for the young star, who has in the past dressed up as an egg, donned a moustache to look like Freddie Mercury, and thrown on a costume that looked like a merry-go-round.
She gave fans another surprise recently.
Even though her most famous song is about kissing a girl, Katy locked lips with a boy for her new pop video.
In the clip for Waking Up In Vegas, she is seen snogging 'professional geek' Joel Moore, who can also claim Paris Hilton as a kissing partner.
He starred in the film The Hottie And The Nottie with Paris, where she frequently kissed him.
Katy is on a high after taking home the Brit Award for Best International Female earlier this month.
She was recently linked to Paris Hilton's ex boyfriend Benji Madden after they were pictured together at a Las Vegas nightclub, but has since spoken out to deny the rumours.

Writing on her blog, she said: 'It’s two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other… doesn’t mean we were bumping uglies!
'You know I don’t just do that with anyone! That’s just how the media works, as you can tell.
'I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy Valentine's with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25.
'Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to Kitty Purry (her pet cat).'
The singer has been single since splitting from musician Travis McCoy, from the Gym Glass Heroes, on New Year's Eve after dating for a year.
Despite their split, Katy insists she is still in touch with Travis and denied a report she had criticised him on stage at one of her gigs.
She said: 'I never mentioned Travis or his lovely band, as they are all still friends of mine.'
