Andrew Keenan-Bolger takes a first look at the new show SPIDERMUSICAL, which will run March 15th-March 21st at the Mint Theater. Click below for video footage.

From the creators of Fat Camp (NYMF Best of Fest 2009) and Perez Hilton Saves the Universe! (Best Musical at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival) comes a new superhero comedy,
Spidermusical., running March 15th through 21st at the Mint Theatre.

A daring new work, Spidermusical, asks the timeless question: what really happens when nerds get bitten by radioactive spiders? Destined to be the greatest musical involving spiders ever written,
including a currently running Broadway mega musical, Spidermusical hilariously subverts the super hero genre via low budget spectacle, rock n roll, a cast of young theatre all stars, and high octane musical comedy, offering New York City and the world a second chance for awesome.

With book by Randy Blair and Timothy Michael Drucker, music by Matt roi Berger, and lyrics by Blair, the cast features Alex Brightman (Wicked), Sara Chase (Toxic Avenger, First Wives Club),
Randy Blair (Adding Machine), Steven Booth (Avenue Q, Glory Days), Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde, Spelling Bee), Katie Thompson (Giant, RRRed), Dana Steingold (Spelling Bee), Max Jenkins (The Last Goodbye), Sam Tedaldi, and Jason Veasey (The Lion King). Directed by Timothy Michael Drucker with choreography by Connor Gallagher (Beauty and the Beast) and music direction by Kristen Lee Rosenfeld (Spring Awakening), the production also features costumes by David Withrow, lighting by Brian Tovar, projections by Rock n Roll High School, and orchestrations and arrangements by Adam Wachter. Casting is by Michael Cassara, CSA.

Opening on the Spides of March (March 15th) and running through 21st at the Mint Theatre (311 West 43rd Street). Tickets are $18 and on sale now at www.spidermusical.com. Twitter: @spidermusical. *Spidermusical is an Equity approved showcase.
