  • nurture relationships among our local educators who know our community needs
  • focus on potential for growth in serving our students
  • inspire both intellect and passion that drives educators to deliver outstanding education
  • provide time for collaboration and learning together in a safe, collegial setting
  • equip teachers to lead positive change in our schools
  • recognize educator strengths and talents to bring innovation to the profession

PROCESS

  • Teachers are nominated to attend ECET2 CK by other teachers, parents, community members, etc. Do you know a teacher who...
      • Exudes passion for what they do?
      • Exhibits a growth mindset?
      • Opens their doors to colleagues, families, and communities?
      • Advocates for their students?
  • Selected teachers attend ECET2 CK on March 6-7, 2020; the event includes:
    • Friday night Pau Hana - pupus and connecting with other CK educators
    • Saturday day - free professional learning (topics ranging from edtech to self-care to career and college)
    • Saturday night event - "celebration of the profession" dinner

We have gathered excellent educators of 17 schools who serve 8000+ students in our CK complex.
