There are several facts about Tasteem.io that you should know so that you become a good user.

1.Tasteem.io is a platform for reviewing restaurant based on contest.

Because it is based on a contest, the top 3 best reviews will get a prize in the form of cryptocurrency called “Steem”.

Each review entered will automatically get a vote from @Tasteem.

2.Every week there are two types of restaurant topic contests that you can follow.

Every week, there will be two types of restaurant topics that you can follow. The topics that are alternately opened every week by Tasteem, these are: Your Weekly Choices; Cheap and Fabulous; Where Is To Eat For Blind Date; Beverage With Friend; Bakeries and Pattisseries; The Best Restaurant of the Year.

You must enter the restaurant review according to the topic provided. Don't forget to include the reasons why you add the restaurant into a contest with that topic.

For example, if you make a review post on the topic "Cheap and Fabulous" then you must include the reason why the restaurant you are reviewing includes cheap and fabulous restaurants.

3.Extra Curation for A Great Review

Tasteem highly appreciates users (Tasteemers) so there will be extra curation for a good review. The votes you get will be doubled if your posts are visited by Tasteem Supporters. One of the Tasteem Supporters is me.

I and other Supporters will look forward for good reviews to give extra curation.

4.How To Get Extra Curation

Do you want to get extra curation? The following are some things that must be in your review so that you get extra curation:

• A photo of the restaurant design (interior and exterior)
• A photo of the restaurant menu
• A photo of the food served
• A description of the taste and quality of the food served
• A general review of the restaurant, or your own experience about the taste of food and service from the restaurant.

5.General Rules for Tasteemers

Every user of course must meet the regulations set by Tasteem. If users do not carry out the existing rules, the votes that have been obtained will be canceled.

If users are known to use more than one account, and make a fake review, then Tasteem will banned users.

Please read the rules:

• You must post a review of a restaurant that you have actually visited recently.
• Your post must contain at least 3 photos and 8 sentences.
• You must post about a restaurant review that matches the contest theme.
• You must have at least one photo taken by yourself at the restaurant.
• If you are to use images from outside sources, please make sure you get a permission from the owner and leave the source in the post.
• You must post in a matching language, without the use of any translation tools.
• You must NOT post about franchises (fast-food/cafe), delivery or take-out food.
• You must NOT post about a restaurant that you have posted within a month ago.

6.Currently, Tasteem platform is running in several languages:

7.New Update: Tasteem Point System

A new update has arrived on tasteem.io. From now on, whenever you login / write a post / write a comment / share on facebook or twitter through tasteem.io, we’re adding Tasteem points to your accounts. Also, you will earn a rank based on the points you earned the week before. The great thing about getting higher ranks is that you will be getting larger tasteem upvotes whenever you write a restaurant review on tasteem.
