Ahmed ClearPath 250 Surgical Technique

Leo Seibold, MD, presents the surgical technique for implantation of the Ahmed ClearPath 250 (New World Medical) glaucoma drainage device, a nonvalved tube shunt device. In this case, the patient had a history of neovascular glaucoma with uncontrolled intraocular pressure after an initial glaucoma drainage device placement. The device was placed in the superonasal quadrant due to inferior eyelid retraction and prior scarred superotemporal tube shunt.
