Some Exercises in Futility: Exhibition Programmes
Thank you for your interest in the group exhibition Some Exercises in Futility, which will take place from 18 January to 4 February 2024 as part of Singapore Art Week 2024.

SAT 27 JAN • PapyPress print studio tour (#05-15)
Our neighbour, print studio PapyPress, will be running 2 tour sessions showcasing their machines, materials, and processes. Use their letterpress machine to print your own cards that have been specially designed in conjunction with our exhibition!

SAT 3 FEB, 2–4PM • pergi, balek: A speculative writing workshop by ila (#05-18)
In Malay, 'pergi, balek' literally means to go away and come back, but could also reference a return to one's home or point of origin. Join artist ila for a free 2-hour workshop exploring alternate temporal realities through language.

SAT 27 JAN, 3–5PM • A fruitless gathering by Genevieve Leong (#05-18)
Join artist Genevieve Leong in making non-functional ceramic spoons as part of her series, Propositions for Impracticality'. (This communal activity is open to all visitors during this window. Participants do not need to stay for the full two hours.)
