GIS Palette Editor

GIS Palette Editor (v0.1) is a standalone client-side browser application that can import, edit, and export 256 colors palettes used within Geographic Information Systems for adding colors to the raster layers. No addition javascript libraries are required for GIS Palette Editor to work.

What GIS Palette Editor can and can't do right now:

  • ✔️ GIS Palette Editor can import IDRISI palette files (*.smp).
  • ✔️ GIS Palette Editor can create new 256 colors palettes from scratch.
  • ✔️ GIS Palette Editor can export current palette as an IDRISI palette file (*.smp).
  • ❌ Due to the method used for saving client-side-generated files, export functionality currently DOES NOT work in Internet Explorer.
  • ❌ GIS Palette Editor can't import palettes in formats other than IDRISI palette.
  • ❌ GIS Palette Editor can't export palettes in formats other than IDRISI palette.

Try the GIS Palette Editor yourself!
