‘I’m through whining about a liberal press,’ says Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin insists she’s done complaining about the liberal media.

Speaking Wednesday night to Greta Van Susteren on Fox News, the former Alaska governor shrugged off what she contends is a double standard in the way conservative women are treated.

{mosads}”I’m through whining about a liberal press that holds conservative women to a different standard, because it doesn’t do any good to whine about it,” Palin said. “When a shot is taken at me, it is water off a duck’s back because I know the important things we need to concentrate on in life — especially the national and international issues that are so important in our country.”

Palin has become a regular critic of the mainstream media — the “lamestream media,” as she calls it — which she says twists reality.

In a speech Saturday in India, she said one important lesson she learned since the 2008 presidential campaign is that it’s important “to have the boldness, the courage, to set the record straight yourself.”

Palin, a possible White House contender in 2012, says she is still undecided on whether she will jump into the race. Some political observers say she won’t. On Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said Palin wouldn’t jump in the race.
