How to Apply for Police Clearance to Enter Hungary

The previous instructions published referred to using the COVID-10 form, but this is no longer the case, and students should instead use the following instructions pertaining to the COVID-02 form.

1. Go to https://bit.ly/clearancehungary 
   
2. Select: Submissions related to the epidemic control measures
   
3. Select: Submissions related to the epidemic control measures: On lodging an equity request to cross the state border or an appeal against a decision taken in this subject
   
4. Select: COVID-02: On lodging an equity request to cross the state border (no login required)
   
5. Select: Digital
   
6. Fill in the form.
   Under Purpose of Entering you should select Fulfillment of education or exam obligation on the basis of student status, if this is certified by a certificate issued by the educational..
   You should upload an active student certificate (from the fall semester of 2020/2021, or from your Registrar’s Office contact- possible from the 8th February 2021) or Certificate for Entering Hungary (deadline to apply for this certificate was 22 January 2021) from the university.

Do not forget to click Finalize when you are finished filling in the form.
