I Just Switched From WP.com To WP.org And I Have One Problem

    I just switched my site over from WP.com to WP.org and everything has been going great so far, I was able to install WP on GoDaddy, export and import all my content from WP.com and publish it on WP.org but I have a little problem. When I was on WP.com I was using the “Enterprise” theme by StudioPress and I made CSS edits to make the theme look a specific way as you can see here. My problem is I don’t see the “Enterprise” theme on WP.org so I’m stuck with the default theme as you can see here. I guess my question is how do I get the Enterprise theme on WP.org and make it look EXACTLY like it did on my old WP.com site?

    I think you are going to have to look around over at http://www.studiopress.com/themes/enterprise because I could not fine a version of it at extend/themes/ . I could not find a “lite” or free download version of it on their site anywhere though.

    Well let’s start off, you’re not *on* WP.org; you’re self hosting, secondly I found the Enterprise theme available here: http://www.studiopress.com/themes/enterprise

    Which apparently is a child theme of the theme called Studio Press, you can get studio press from here: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/studiopress

    Or use the wp-admin -> themes -> install and search for studio press and add it via the dashboard.

    Studio Press has support forums here: http://www.studiopress.com/support/ that would probably benefit you a bit more with direct answers.

    @frumph, It looks like the Enterprise child theme though would cost roughly $25 since there doesn’t appear to be a download link at http://www.studiopress.com/themes/enterprise . Not a “break the bank” sort of cost, but just sayin’ .

    Right ^ yeah. That’s one of “those things”.

    However you’re not buying the child theme you’re really buying the support for it, which in the long run could be extremely viable.

    Wait so which one do I buy? The 24.95 or 79.95? What’s the difference? I’m a little lost any help would be appreciated

    all the themes on studiopress are written to use the genesis framework which means you need to purchase genesis first and then any child themes. They usually have a deal where you can buy genesis + theme for a decent price.

    I bought the pro plus package which has a really nice relaxed licence which means I get all the themes and can use them on any of my sites as many times as I like.
