I grew up in Big Timber and graduated from Sweet Grass County High School in 2007. I attend the University of Montana Western and earned my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education in Broadfield Science with a coaching option. I previously taught high school and middle school science in Valier, MT and Joliet, MT. In 2017 I earned my masters degree in School Counseling from Montana State University Billings. I have been the school counselor at SGHS for the last 6 years. This year I moved back to the science classroom and teach AP Biology, Biology, Environmental Science and Physics.
I have a one year old son named Leo, he just started walking and is keeping us very busy. When I am not in school I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, Logan, son, Leo, and dog, Lucky. We enjoy snowmobiling in the winter and fishing, floating, and exploring the mountains in the summer.
I am looking forward to teaching science and creating relationships with students and parents as a classroom teacher!
