On Saturday, May 4, join Des Moines Parks and Recreation for the 2024 Mayor's Annual Ride!
The 22-Mile Bike Ride will start at the Municipal Service Center 1 (1551 E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy.) and will go north following the Des Moines River.
FEES
Adult Ride: $35 per adult before May 4 | $50 on-site
Youth Ride: $5 for ages 5 through 17 | Children 4 and younger are free
The registration fee for adults includes a t-shirt, an entry to win a free bike, refreshments at a rest stop along the route, and good company. The registration fee for youth does not include a t-shirt.
NEW for 2024: Are you a minimalist that doesn't care much for more 'stuff' and would rather pass on receiving the annual t-shirt? Or would you just like to Support the Ride to ensure it continues to be a great tradition, even if you don't plan on riding yourself? The $15 "I Support" registration option is just for you!

2024 Raffles
MARR registration (Adult Ride registration) automatically enters each participant registering for the Mayor’s Annual Ride Drawings. On May 4, 2024, two random drawings from among all eligible entries received will be conducted under the supervision of the City of Des Moines to award the prizes of: A $150 gift certificate from BIKEIOWA and a $150 gift certificate from the Des Moines Street Collective.
