MULUGO DAY CARE is a community-based organization with a mandate to meet the need for quality Early Childhood development interventions in PROTEA GLEN

 

In the early nineties PROTEA GLEN communities were in turmoil and there was a dire need for proper housing, in addition to health and educational facilities. At this time the plight of young, unschooled and vulnerable children became apparent to the community at large, like other community based organizations in the area, IRENE MAFUKADUVHA the founder of MULUGO DAY CARE saw the need establish a Care Centre in the area where she lives.Mulugo is a Venda name meaning Kindness.
