Join us in honoring the work of Berta Cáceres, Francisco Pineda, and Alberto Curamil, water protectors from Honduras, El Salvador, and Chile. “The film Water For Life illuminates a growing recognition of Indigenous rights and a rising demand for corporate responsibility and environmental justice that’s being seen around the world. It is a story that begins and ends with water.” Food and refreshments will be provided. This event is FREE!
Parking and Check-in: Please allow sufficient time to arrive at the The College Nine & JRL Multipurpose Room. Parking will be free after 5:00pm at the East Remote Lot 104. There is a loop bus available that picks up from the East Remote Lot to the college 9 / John R. Lewis bus stop.
Covid-19 Guidelines: For the safety of our community, we recommend our guests and volunteers wear masks when they are not eating. We will have masks available at the registration table.
Food: We will be serving food for our guests starting at 5:30pm until 6:10pm when the film screening begins. We encourage you to arrive early if you can. First come first serve basis.

¡Acompáñanos a nuestro evento donde estrenaremos el documental “Agua es vida” cual cuenta la historia de Berta Cáceres líder indígena Lenca en Honduras; el agricultor Salvadoreño Francisco Pineda; y Alberto Curamil, líder indígena Mapuche en Chile. El documental ilumina el reconocimiento de los derechos indígenas y demanda de responsabilidad corporativa y justicia ambiental. Es una historia que comienza y termina con el agua. ¡Este evento cultural y familiar es totalmente gratuito!
Estacionamiento: Permita suficiente tiempo para llegar al salón de College Nine & JRL Multipurpose Room. El estacionamiento será gratuito después de las 5:00 p. m. en East Remote Lot 104. Hay un autobús circular disponible que los recoge desde East Remote Lot hasta la parada de autobús College 9/John R. Lewis.
