Hello Support Forums!, Welcome to my first Tutorial/Guide series. Please read the whole guide or else you will find that it doesn't work that good, but i promise if you do read the guide thoroughly you find that you get significant results. Please note: If you do not find my guide useful or that it isn't working for you, don't spam/troll the comments telling me how stupid this is, you will be reported. So now that thats settled lets go ahead and get started shall we?

Well you will obviously notice that when you first start Black Ops or Prestige, that you only start out with i believe 3 default classes, i am going to strongly recommend the first Default Class, Its the MP5K, its a great starter weapon + its pretty powerful and has GREAT hip-fire,


Here is some more stats on this weapon. Usually that should get you alot of kills and keep your momentum going until obviously you hit Lvl 4. That's when you unlock create-a-class. I would set up the first couple of classes with MP5K Perks would have to be:
Perk Slot 1:
Lightweight(Sprint Faster, Pro: No Falling Damage)
or
Ghost(Undetectable by spy plane, Pro:No red cross hairs etc.)

Perk Slot 2:
Steady Aim (Better Hip-fire accuracy, Pro:Aim faster after sprinting)
or
Sleight of Hand(Reload Faster, Pro:Faster Ads, Accept Sniper Rifles)
Perk Slot 3:
Marathon(Longer Sprinting, Pro: Infinite Sprint)
or
Ninja(Silent footsteps, Pro:Here Enemy footsteps louder)

Now may be wondering what the heck man!, i know there is alot of other great perks but you don't really want to use them right now, for example Scavenger. You will need that when you want to go streaking of some sort. but let me explain my theory for the perks that you should you use. First off lightweight, its already purchased i believe and heck you might need to get to that spawn point faster. Ghost is SO useful, for one every new player has Spy-Plane as their default kill streak so since black ops is new your gonna need that. Okay now for the second perks, Steady aim is very useful for an MP5K/Ak-74u Rush class because they both have really good hip-fire so why don't you make it a little more deadly. Sleight of Hand always gets me out of tight situations, Enough said. ninja and marathon, as a new player your gonna be running around alot so why dont you just strap on Marathon. The gaming industry has improved alot over the years thus bringing a new breed of gamers, only known in FPS games called "Sound Whores" which are players who camp and listen to their high tech $500 headset and wait for you in the shadows . Thus making ninja more relevant to are situation.
Once you get to about lvl 14 you will unlock a damn beast of a weapon known as the famas, it reigns terror on its enemy's with a 2 shot kill average. Strap this up Ghost, Sleight of Hand, Marthon + Suppressor, and you got yourself a guaranteed Positive K/D.

Reminder: Dont worry about your player card and all that stuff just yet, right now you should focus on getting leveled up!
Levels 20 through 50 are pretty much self explanatory, You should be starting to catch a drift of how the game works, so take time to memorize the maps and such. Keep using the famas, its a great weapon, but now that you familiar with the game, you may want to start tying out new perks like "Hardline, Hacker, Hardened" and such, i am sorry if you came to this thread wanted a complete class setup guide, it took me along time and research to find out that figuring out a great class setup is completely based on how you play, So, its all on you, but i will recommend that you try out the Aug, AK-47(Great Weapon)
Reminder: I will point out before i go further that Playing Headquarters will lvl you up extremely fast.

Now once you hit 44, it should be pretty smooth sailing, you will unlock the "Commando" or as i like to call it the rape-stick.
At this point you can if you haven't already mess with all your camo's and emblem's. Just remember "it depends on you."
