Description
On Monday, June 3rd, SMS will be hosting its 18th annual Grand Luncheon. This is a special day for children to enjoy lunch at school with their grandparents or other special invited guests.
There is a $5 charge for each guest. Guests may order a bag lunch (turkey sandwich, chips, apple) from the cafeteria or bring their own lunch from home. Desserts, coffee and water will be available for all guests.
An accurate count of attendees is necessary for the day to flow as smoothly as possible. All guests must register online whether they are purchasing lunch from the cafeteria or bringing their own. There is only one bag lunch per guest, even if you are participating with more than one child. To have the bag lunch ready for you, you must register by May 24, 2019. No bag lunches will be available for people who register after May 24, 2019.
Children will use their lunch cards as usual and DO NOT need to pre-order lunch.
Reservations - Event registration is online only and is mandatory to attend the event.
Please make your reservation online by Friday, May 24th. After you register online an email with the ticket(s) & event information will be sent to the email listed when making the reservation. For security purposes, please have all Grand Guests bring this ticket & information with them to the event. The ticket is also required to obtain your bag lunch.
If you have more than one child sharing a guest, the guest may eat lunch with the youngest child and dessert with the others. Any child unable to bring a guest will be paired with a friend to share in the day’s enjoyment.
A tentative lunch schedule is included below for your planning purposes. After lunch, guests are encouraged to attend recess wtih their student and exit the school from the playground. Recess lasts 20 minutes.

Parking & Event Check-in:
Handicap parking is reserved in the lot closest to the school and there is a drop off area immediately in front of the school. Registration will be in the school lobby and all guests need to bring their tickets to the event. Grand guests should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to get through registration prior to the lunch. The school library will be open for guests to wait prior to and between lunches.
