Overview:
Design plus Diversity presents Social Impact Designers: Stories from the Field, which will take place on Tuesday April 30th. This event will feature social impact designers and organizations who are using design to shift, challenge, and create equitable systems. Panelists will share their insights around building a career as a social impact designer.
The objective of this event is to build upon conversations around diversity, inclusion, and equity within the context of the design for social innovation space, create an opportunity for practitioners to share learnings from their work, and inspire emerging designers who are looking to build a career in the design for social impact space.

6:30pm Power & Privillege Session: This will be a great opportunity to have meaningful conversations and meet people that are interested in design in the social impact space through an engaging activity format. We will be doing an icebreaker activity, followed by a facilitated session around power and privillege. In order to participate in this activity, you would need to attend the event 6:30pm. There is *limited space*. If you are unable to make it for this portion, you can register for just the panel discussion
