Welcome our new Staff Members!

Congrats to all parties! Here's to some more great years! Or something, I couldn't come up with anything

I can honestly say that one of the reasons I love this site so much is simply because of many of the people on this list.  This is a community, after all.  I can't even tell you how many times they've helped me and how much I've learned from them, whether it was directly through open discussion or indirectly by following their threads.  All that and also the sheer amount of time and work they've all put into this site;  making tutorials, tracking down lost files and dependencies, sorting out technical issues, finding new and improved ways to build and play our cities, giving direction to the lost and sharing their expertise and skills so willingly, especially with those of us who really don't have a lot to give back - their devotion to the game and to all of us who play it and love it is all quite mind boggling, really!  They're also very interesting people to talk to - at least the ones I've talked to are

Kudos to the administrators for recognizing the efforts of these people and thank you for continuously making this community better all the time!  Having these people as moderators is simply very good news for everyone here at Simtropolis.

Congrats to all of you. I've only been a member for a short time but I already recognize some of the names as very helpful and  pleasant folks.

Congratulations!  Each and every one of you who have been memorialized (  ) here have shown yourselves to be helpful and friendly over the years, so y'all have earned this.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments towards the 11 newbies.

I'm truly honoured to he part of the team and will continue to serve this community with the respect and diligence  it so very much deserves.

Congratulations new Staff members.

Welcome to Orientation. I see you already have your badges so I assume you have gone to the human resources office and have your tax paperwork and insurance worked out.  We will start by having everyone share their name and a little about themselves. A few words about our goals and company motto and a speech about giving 110% and then we will break up into groups for the guided tour around the office. Bathrooms and break rooms will be pointed out and you will also pass by the security desk and get your parking passes. Remember new staff will need to park in the back of the lot and no one is to ever park in the labeled spot for Dirktator. Make sure you take note of all the fire exits and remember no smoking in the building. 

We run a tight ship around here, but not too tight, be sure to clean your workspaces at the end of the day.

There will be a test, too.  Be sure to fill in the bubble corresponding with your desired answer completely and erase any marks you do not want.

Welcome aboard and anyone's vehicle parking without a pass will be towed away at the owner's expense .

You know I read a document (in a serious book) that discussed how, for the SAT at least, how the computer they use to score the exams uses an algorithm to identify how you fill in bubble, so other bubbles that are filled in that are inconsistent with this are ignored, including other bubbles filled in the exact same line of the form.

Which means you can doodle all you want, as long as you don't properly fill in the other bubbles.

Even the Dirktator himself? I suppose it's alright. I was under the impression he lived at the "office" anyways, and so never needed a car.

The back of the lot can't be that bad if there's only a single line of parking. I am concerned about the state of the bathrooms though. I hear the new staff are assigned them for cleaning duty, and if I remember correctly there haven't been any new staff in a while.
