VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
Shift A (4hrs) 7:30a-11:30a
Shift B (4 hrs) 11:00a - 3:00p
Shift C (2hrs) 2:00p - 4:00p
VOLUNTEER TASKS
Volunteers are needed to:
- Support STEM++ Career Cluster vendors
- Serve as timekeepers for workshops
- Escort groups to their activity stations
- Setup the College & Career Fair
- Manage registration stations
- Maintain a safe traffic flow
- Help prepare and serve lunch
- Fill and distribute gift bags/programs
- Serve as transportation coordinators
- Manage information/help desk(s)
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
Tentatively scheduled for September 3, 2016 @ 10:30a. Location TBD.

In order to reduce the negative impact of poverty, The NEXT Steps Youth Entrepreneur Program created The Community On Demand STEAM Education & Life Skills Development Game to help disenfranchised individuals develop the life & high-demand STEAM skills needed to create, secure and retain employment and career-building opportunities located within their local communities.
Description
Imagine a learning management system that uses STEAM education, financial literacy, blockchain technology, entertainment and entrepreneurship to reduce the negative impact of poverty.
The Community On Demand STEAM Education & Life Skills Development Game is a veteran led, STEAM edtech transitional training and staffing solutions platform whose collective impact initiatives create community involvement growth strategies that maximize engagement, generate wealth, and strengthens STEAM skills in order to build sustainable, purpose-built communities.
We focus on five key achievement domains to help communities benefit from the impact solutions that Community On Demand helps learners create as they address, reduce and/or eliminate the socio-economic conditions negatively impacting their communities:
